Job Duties

The main duties are detailed as follows:

• To analysis, identify and assist enterprise and individuals on their learning and developmental needs;
• To introduce and secure enrolments for seminars, workshops, programmes, in-house trainings and new clients;
• To follow-through with existing clients and provide support on their learning and development application at work and life;
• To maintain regular and strong customer relationship to achieve clients retention and referral rate;
• To coordinate with client and external service provider for the logistical arrangement for programme / training / meeting / in-house training event to ensure smooth running of operation to meet objectives;
• To maintain and upkeep the database and documents filing to be accurate and relevant
• To provide administrative support to prepare programmes / training / meeting / in-house training event materials and other necessary actions0
• To perform any other ad-hoc task(s) assigned

Job Requirements

• Educated to diploma or higher level
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, to enable professional interaction with a wide range of contacts, both internal and external customers
• Ability to organise and plan own work
• Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to maintain a high level of accuracy

Key Accountabilities

• Plan, direct and deliver training programme / activities for regional office
• Conduct review of existing training and to improve training programme / activities for regional office

Pre-requisites

• Diploma in any discipline Candidates with relevant experience in training and as trainer will have an advantage.

Responsibilities:

• Administrative support for various A*STAR Grants
• Support in A*STAR grant calls including drafting of grant call announcements to faculty, advising PIs and school administrators on funding guidelines, work processes and grant call opportunities.
• Provide guidance to faculty and School administrators to better understand the grant requirements through checklists or guides or standardized forms
• Facilitate on the budget scrubbing process prior to the award of the project
• Coordinate internal review panel meeting to shortlist proposals, when required
• Assist awarded PIs with their letters of award and facilitating research account opening
• Support the team to manage post award requests from faculty for their research grants (i.e. variation requests, report submissions), in accordance to the T&Cs of the research grants awarded)
• Provide support and guidance for RISE (Research Information System) and iGrant related enquiries
• Support in preparation of reports and statistical data
• Involve in ad-hoc initiatives undertaken by the Office

Requirements:

• A Bachelor degree from recognised university with at least 1 to 2 years relevant work experience
