The Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) Department at the National University of Singapore (NUS) is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Research Engineer to join our team and contribute to our ongoing research projects related to IC design.

Responsibilities:

• Explore heterogeneous systems with silicon chips being integrated on unconventional substrates such as flexible and stretchable, for ultra-low power always-on and intelligent silicon platforms.
• Work on innovative circuit techniques with very wide power-performance scaling to minimize the system energy while providing targeted levels of performance on demand. Such techniques will be investigated for digital sub-systems in advanced technologies.
• Be responsible to conduct research at the circuit level, defining and validating design options and defining new integrated circuit techniques.

We offer a competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience, along with a stimulating research environment and access to state-of-the-art facilities. This is a full-time position with an initial contract duration of 12 months, with potential for renewal based on performance and funding availability.

Qualifications

The candidate must possess:

• Possess a Bachelor/Master’s degree in either Electrical Engineering or strictly related (e.g., Computer, Communication, or Information Engineering).
• Activity performed in multiple research environments and industrial experience are highly valued.

UWCSEA Dover has a vacancy for January 2025 for a part time Teacher of Middle School Art. The initial contract will be for one term until the end of June 2025 with the option to renew for another school year in August 2026.

The successful applicant will be an experienced and committed Art educator with a passion and desire to play a key role in delivering and developing an exciting, considered art program. A proven track record in enthusing students to achieve personal creative fulfilment and a love of art in their students is a must.

The Role

SIA-NUS Digital Aviation Lab at the National University of Singapore (NUS) offers an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated Research Engineer in Work Package 4. The work package focuses on developing innovations in the following key strategic areas related to passengers’ inflight experience, mainly in Enhancements to SIA’s Cabin Seat Product Offerings, Novel Features for SIA’s Next Generation Aircraft Cabins for Sleep Improvement and Pushing SIA’s Superior Customer Experience to New Heights with an Advanced Connected Cabin.

The duties and responsibilities for this role includes collaborating with other team members (which includes Software Engineers, Hardware Engineers, Data Analyst and Industrial Designer) in the WP and the Corp Lab . The candidate would be tasked to help to formulate and publish papers for the project and develop the Behaviour Science related work that team is working on.
