Job Description

• Refine classroom management strategies, and strategies to observe and document children’s learning
• Engage children meaningfully through the customisation of curriculum and use of appropriate pedagogy
• Implement differentiated teaching and learning strategies to meet the diverse needs of children
• Inculcate the core values of Early Childhood Education through classroom activities and programmes
• Design quality learning environments
• Enhance trusting, respectful relationships with children through classroom curriculum and programmes
• Guide colleagues to engage in continuous learning and reflective practice
• Contribute to fostering a culture of continuous learning
• Contribute in fostering a culture of collaboration
• Uphold the Centre’s Vision, Mission and Values

Requirements

• Possess relevant Early Childhood Education Certification
• Able to plan and conduct lessons
• Effective communication and Teamwork
• Open-mindedness
• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Master's Degree, Education/Teaching/Training or equivalent.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work collaboratively with children, teachers and the community of EtonHouse to develop a , fun, educational music/movement activities and deepens the learning that is taking place through class initiated inquiries;
• Create a variety of opportunities for children to express themselves and make discoveries using the children songs, lyrics and movements related to the curriculum as well as performance theme music;
• Meet regularly with the class teachers and curriculum coordinator to discuss ideas and connections to the current inquiries;
• Maintain a high standard of teaching practice and professionalism;
• Undertake continued professional development and share the scope of Music Teacher with the school community;
• Document children's learning making connections to the curriculum. For example; portfolio entries, newsletters, community display boards;
• Manage and develop pre-school resources and materials for Music programme

• Diploma in education with a major in music, or a diploma/degree in music or Diploma in Music Performance/ Speech & Drama
• Fluent in spoken and written in English
• Added Advantages: Ability to play at least one musical instrument and/ or basic qualifications in Early Childhood Education/ Preschool Teaching

3) Assist other teachers to help out in other classes 协助其他老师，帮助其他班级

4) Prepare lesson plans for the class(s) in charge 为负责的课程准备课程计划

5) Excellent communication and classroom management skills 优秀的沟通和课堂管理能力

6) 44-48 hours per week 每周 44-48 小时
