Summarized Purpose:

• Provides support to investigator sites, monitors, department, business unit or function through communication of information, training sites and documentation of services pertaining to clinical trials. Uses the tools provided to answer all questions, takes orders and ensure clean data at the earliest point in time.

Essential Functions:

• Acts as the point of contact for sites, ensuring that questions, material orders and request for information are responded and documented in an accurate and timely manner. Ensures that the sites are properly trained in aspects of the protocol (following the study flow sheet) relating to the department. Provides guidance on pre-analytical aspects of the study to ensure smooth flow of data to and from the site.
• Triages calls where necessary to appropriate individual/departments and follow through to resolution.

Ensures that all site issues are communicated and followed up to resolution, primarily to site and monitor. Reviews site performance metrics to educate where needed or to report back to monitor or sponsor. Informs site of the results or reasoning not to proceed.
• Follows the specifications and scope of work to evaluate requests for any additional test(s) (test performed in protocol) to be added to a sample. Evaluates the request for out of protocol testing following Scope of work for study. Facilitates requests to the appropriate person.

We are seeking a highly motivated candidate as a research fellow in the Quantitative Proteomics Core in collaboration with the Kappei lab at the Cancer Science Institute of Singapore (CSI). Our team addresses research questions on nucleic acid-protein interactions with quantitative mass spectrometry, cell biological and genetic approaches applied to cancer research and we further support research activities at CSI as part of the Quantitative Proteomics Core with quantitative proteomics solutions to study protein expression, protein interactions as well as post-translational modifications.

Proteins are the functional agents in cells, yet the systematic global characterization of their expression and spatial distribution has largely remained limited to the analysis of RNA as a proxy. To close this gap, we have recently expanded the Quantitative Proteomics Core to Clinical Proteomics applications with dedicated instruments including a timsTOF fleX mass spectrometer that allows for dual LC-MS/MS and MALDI imaging analysis. The research fellow will develop innovative workflows for both untargeted and targeted spatial protein imaging applied to the analysis of cancer tissues. We are looking for an experienced clinical monitor to perform the study monitoring in ADVANcing Clinical Evidence in Infectious Diseases Network (ADVANCE ID). ADVANCE ID is jointly funded by the Wellcome Trust and Singapore institutions including the Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health and Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore. The vision of the Network is to improve public health by developing the clinical evidence base for the prevention and treatment of drug-resistant infections. Its mission is to build and sustain a strategic clinical research network focused on most efficiently delivering locally relevant interventions for drug-resistant infections.

The Network aims to improve and strengthen clinical research capabilities in the region by acting as a platform to develop good principles and practices. It will stabilise capacity and capabilities to mitigate inefficiencies in trial start-up phase and loss of skillset following study closure, as in typical trial setup. The Network will continuously develop its capabilities, quality and efficiency by learning from and collaborating with other clinical trial networks.

In the long term, the Network aims to support broader infectious disease studies by expanding geographically beyond its original starting point in South East Asia and collaborating with other networks around the world. He/ she will assist the Principal Investigator in all manner of clinical trial activities, from recruitment, screening and coordination of trial-related procedures, and contribute to maintaining the high-quality, world-class clinical research that defines NCIS. You will be responsible for the following:

a) To adhere to compliance with Research Governance, Good Clinical Practice, Data Protection and Ethical Requirements.

b) To ensure the study and study procedures are conducted in accordance with the study protocol.

c) To participate in patient recruitment.

d) To ensure informed consent procedure is followed.

e) To coordinate patient visits for future tests and procedures.

f) To organize and participate in site initiation visits.

g) To arrange for clinical and laboratory investigations to be carried out according to protocol.

h) To collect and collates research data, ensuring its accuracy and completeness.

i) Ensure timely and accurate transcription of information on source documents, paper case report forms (CRFs), or electronic CRFs.

j) To label and ensure biological specimens are delivered in the correct conditions as specified in the trial protocol.

k) To assist investigator(s) in adverse events / serious adverse events reporting.

l) Creation and maintenance of all trial files, including the trial master file, and oversight of site files.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Here at Moleac, we are a company aiming to address the needs of patient’s recovery from a loss of brain functions after a brain injury as well as cognitive deficits. In our small and dynamic Medical Affairs Department, you will play an important role in supporting the clinical studies we undertake and will have abundant opportunities to learn the entire clinical study process. The Department runs Moleac’s international drug development programs with two focus areas: extension of indications for our main marketed products and conduct of clinical studies aiming at the regulatory approval of our new products in major markets.

RESPONSIBILITIES

· Support the investigators in implementing clinical trials protocols:

o Liaise with the study site personal to implement the study per global and local requirements.

o Ensure compliance with all ethical, regulatory and contractual requirements.

o Training of study site personal (protocol, use of IP, SOPs, etc.).

· Ensuring data quality and integrity of clinical study data:

o Conducts site monitoring visits and follow-up to identify deviations & issues and to ensure that all clinical aspects of studies are being carried out in accordance with the protocol, regulations, guidelines and policies.

o Reviews on-site files and records, case report forms, and source documents for completeness, accuracy, consistency, and compliance.

o Identifies deficiencies and discrepancies, and provides remedial training and/or implement corrective and preventive actions as required.

o Liaise with data management, reviews case report form queries, clarifies and/or obtains changes to data as appropriate.

· Create, update, track, and maintain study-specific trial management files. Ensure study documents are audit ready.

· Co-ordinate and track meetings with CROs, vendors, investigators and internal teams.

· Update and maintain clinical department management tools and systems, as required.

· Provide administrative support as required.

REQUIREMENTS

· Bachelor’s Degree in Science or a related field preferred.

· Minimum of 2 years’ CRA experience is preferred, however, other relevant experience and skills may be considered.

· Good understanding of GCPs (Good Clinical Practices).

· Advanced analytical thinking skills and numeracy grasp.

· Strong in using project management tools and Microsoft Office.

· High sense of accountability and urgency. Ability to set priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

About the Role:

The role is to provide clinical strategic and tactical leadership to support GDD trials, clinical development plans which change the world, concept sheets/protocols and other clinical documents. This role also responsible to provide country clinical strategic guidance and feasibility assessment for NIBR PoC trials, closely collaborates with the Trial Monitoring Organization and Medical Affairs to ensure successful allocation, fast clinical trial start up, recruitment according to planned timelines, early identification.

Key Responsibilities :-

• Closely collaborates with the Trial Monitoring Organisation to ensure fast clinical trial start up, recruitment according to planned timelines, early identification of potential delays and robust recruit- ment mitigation plan. Co-own start-up phase and the recruitment plan for development clinical trials with the local TMO organization.

• Provides robust indication and protocol training to CRAs and CSEs

• Provide protocol, Risk management plan & disease training as appropriate, and externally at Investigator’s Meetings or scientific venues to support recruitment and trial awareness.

• Assess the clinical feasibility of implementing a clinical trial protocol based on regional/local medical practice using physician interviews, local databases (RWE, payer data, patient association feed- back, etc.) and analysis of the competitive environment

• Provide medical/clinical assistance to TMO and site for IEC/IRB Interactions

• Review country or site specific Informed Consent Forms (ICF) and ensure accuracy of translation of information related to Development clinical trials /NIBR PoC studies when translated into the local language, including the patient narrative where appropriate

• Support Ministry of Health interaction (or local Board of Health) as required. Perform local AE review for development compounds and provide general medical support for safety issues.

• Support Regulatory Affairs, Health Economics, Drug safety and epidemiology and Medical Information with medical/clinical input as appropriate as this relates to global development clinical trials and NIBR PoC trials. Support planning, implementation and follow-up of regulatory agency inspections and internal audits

Essential Requirements

• A degree or equivalent experience in scientific or health subject area required

• At least 3 Years clinical development experience in pharmaceutical industry

• Understanding of the overall clinical development and ICH/GCP

• Ability to handle a study from the medical/clinical perspective, and a proven capability to problem tackle and mediate sophisticated- clinical / medical / operational issues

• Agility to move fast across different therapeutic areas and indications

Job Description

The Assistant Clinical Training Co-Ordinator (ACTC) will work closely with the Clinical Training Co-Ordinator (CTC) to co-ordinate and monitor the assignment of patients to BDS students during the clinical phase of their training. At the same time, the ACTC will also monitor the management of these assigned patients. The ACTC will work with the Module Co-Ordinators, Faculty's Office of Undergraduate Education and Student Affairs (UESA), nursing and operations colleagues from the National University Centre for Oral Health, Singapore (NUCOHS) and other relevant stakeholders to support sustainable clinical training opportunities for the undergraduates. Specifically, the Assistant Training Co-Ordinator shall;

1. Support the daily management and maintenance of patient management data system (e.g. data updates, timeliness of response to referrals and feedback; service recovery protocols; engagement between patients and students) to ensure positive experiences for patients and students in the UG Clinical Programme
2. Maintain online patient request form and facilitate regular and timely checks on students' clinical requirements and timely assignments of patients to students
3. Co-ordinate the assignment of patients to undergraduates for their clinical phases in the BDS programme
4. Work closely with the undergraduates to ensure timely management of patients assigned to them, including emergency cases during term breaks
5. Implement relevant pathways and protocols to manage and co-ordinate referrals from the UG Clinic to and from the other various clinics to ensure continuity of follow-up for patients (e.g. NUCOHS; PG Programme and Polyclinics)
6. Manage patient feedback regarding the undergraduate treatment programme
7. Counsel and guide undergraduates to establish positive and professional student-patient relationships
8. Provide any other relevant administrative support to ensure the smooth operations of the UG Clinics
9. Assist CTC to conduct termly compliance audits to ensure that undergraduates adhere to relevant protocols and guidelines
10. Liaise with NUHS Stakeholder to obtain and disseminate clinic system ID to students and assist with troubleshooting
11. Procurement of clinic consumables, liaise with NUHS Ops for EPIC ID and Cadence template building
12. Manage return of cases from graduating students
13. Monitor weekly movement of patient folders, discharge folders and transfer cases among students
14. Assign patients to students according to discipline, e.g. Year 2 Term 4: OD and Perio; Year 3 Term 3: Pedo
15. Assist CTC on any on-site matters, including patient, students and reception enquiries and NUHS Ops queries
16. Facilitate preparation of name stamps and name tags for clinic usage. Work with Lab colleagues on name tags
17. Prepare Dental Records Office for incoming clinical students
18. Any other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications

• Minimum "O" Levels or equivalent
• Some background or previous work experience in Dentistry will be advantageous
• Familiarity with MS Word and Excel will be useful
• A team player and yet able to work independently when needed
• People-oriented and able to communicate effectively
