We are seeking an individual with HSE experience for the position of Health Safety Environmental Trainer at Fortis Construction Pte. Ltd. Singapore operations.  The candidate will be responsible for training workers on safety matters, enforcing safety policies, safeguarding inventory, and coordinating first aid training programs.

• Deliver training courses and assessments in accordance with the facilitator and assessment guides as assigned by the Training Lead with the highest standards of ethics, integrity and professionalism.
• Assist the Training Lead to schedule trainings and ensure delivery of training meets the construction demands.
• Prepare the necessary training materials, training rooms, equipment as required to fulfil effective delivery.
• Verify the correctness of Verification of Competency (VOC) documents and ensure necessary training requirements as defined in the Competency Matrix are completed prior to badging approval.
• Support the Training Lead in the design and development of training curriculum.
• Build capabilities to conduct insightful, engaging, impactful and informative training to all levels of the workforce including trainings/workshops for Management.
• Maintenance of training records in an easily accessible and traceable manner.
• Support the data verification and assurance of the proper registration of personnel in the BAS system.
• Conduct routine evaluations and assessments to determine training effectiveness. This includes but not limited to worker engagement, site observations to collect data and feedback, targeted inspections for gap analysis and improvement of training content.

• Provide administrative support for the training academy's operations.
• Assist to establish and publish the monthly training calendar.
• Liaise with Trade Partners’ training coordinators on training related matters and queries.
• Conduct trainings for Trade Partner’s training coordinators in the use of the online training management system.
• Facilitate training bookings and correspondences in a timely and efficient manner
• Manage and oversee the printing and issuance of training materials and resources.
• Liaise with external training providers for the delivery of training for staff and workers.
• Assist with the tracking of HSE training data and statistics and preparation of reports.
• Ensure all staff and contractor training records/data are maintained in a traceable and easily accessible manner.
• Data verification and assurance of the proper registration of personnel in the workplace and manpower management biometrics system.

Job Requirements:

• PhD in Electrical Engineering, or Automation, or Computer Science and Engineering, or related disciplines from a prestigious university

• Have at least 1 first-author publication in top-tier journal

• Knowledge in at least one of the following topics: multi-robot coordination, fleet management, optimization, control, and learning, or robotics

• Good simulation and programming skills

• Good interpersonal skills

• Good communication and writing in English

Job Requirements: 

• At least have a Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, Mechatronics, Automation and Control Engineering, Artificial Intelligence (AI), etc.

• Relevant working experience will be preferred.

• Strong background in autonomous driving, simulator, AI, and automation.

• Good communication skills and the ability to work independently and facilitate projects with minimal supervisiont

• Able to contribute to Journal/Conference papers with good presentation skills

• Able to plan and organize well and adhere to deadlines.
