You will play a pivotal role in the Heart Protection theme of the National Heart Research Institute of Singapore (NHRIS) at the National Heart Centre of Singapore (NHCS). Your responsibilities will include:
· Leading, executing and managing a public-private partnership programme.
· Initiating and coordinating key processes of the programme in collaboration with Principal Investigators.
· Providing valuable intellectual contributions and strategic insights for the overall programme and its projects.
· Engaging and managing key stakeholders, both internal and external, across hospitals, research institutions, and industry partners.
· Overseeing administrative tasks such as facilitating meetings, managing agreements, generating reports, and budgeting to ensure the smooth operation of the programme
Job Requirements
- Degree in Science, Health Science or its equivalent with a strong background in molecular and cell biology
- Minimum 1 - 2 years’ relevant work experience in healthcare or research setting
- Experience in managing budgets and supervising junior staff
- Relevant project management certification and familiarity with A*STAR reporting requirements would be an advantage
- Demonstrated project management experience, preferably in laboratory and finance management
- Experience in preparing and submitting grant proposals, including knowledge of grant variations, submissions, and reporting
- Able to work independently, coupled with effective problem-solving and organisational skills
- A capable leader who can guide the team, monitor progress, supervise, and manage collaborative research activities
