Overview*

Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be involved in a multi-site cohort Human Biomedical Research study. The Centre for Population Health Research and Implementation (CPHRI) is a centralised platform for population health research, innovation, implementation and evaluation activities at the SingHealth Regional Health System. CPHRI aims to seamlessly leverage data and technology to guide and support population health initiatives and accelerate the implementation of research findings in care delivery and improvement.

You will support the work of the Population-based, Unified, Learning System for Enhanced and Sustainable Health (PULSES) Centre Grant which seeks to develop a learning and integrated Regional Health System to address unmet needs and advance population health research in Singapore.

You will assist the Principal Investigator (PI) in conducting literature reviews and systematic reviews as well as assisting with study design and planning. You will conduct quantitative and qualitative research studies and perform data analysis. You will organise analytical and research activities and prepare manuscripts/reports/proposals. You will offer technical guidance and research support to department staff in the domain of analytics and programme evaluation. You will also support the development of educational curriculum and conduct education activities related to the various population health research areas and projects.

Requirement

• Master’s degree in Health Economics, Public Health, Biostatistics, Social Science, Epidemiology or related academic area with least 2 years’ experience in population health research
• Experience in health economics, built environment on social factors and health or implementation science will be an advantage
• Experience in using any statistical package (SPSS/STATA/SAS) or qualitative analysis software Nvivo
• Good verbal and written communication skills

• Track record of publications in peer-reviewed journals
• Strong quantitative or qualitative research skills
• Proficient with advanced data analytics software (eg. SPSS, STATA, SAS) or qualitative analysis software (eg. Nvivo)

This role with be a 9 Months Contract Role based in Singapore

• Multiple cohorts of around 40 people each time will be invited to a journey of multiple months starting with a 2 days boot camp followed by multiple touch points.

Job Description

• You will maintain expert-level knowledge in product / sales system

He/She will be part of the Research Department to help provide research administrative/secretariat support to the research community in SingHealth Polyclinics. • IRB application submission & management
• Grant management and tracking of utilized/disbursed funds according to prevailing regulations and policies

Roles and Responsibilities:

Support the Director, Research and Manager, Research to oversee and implement the research programmes and initiatives of the National Dental Centre Singapore (NDCS) and the Oral Health Academic Clinical Program (ORH ACP) in the following areas:

Grant management

• Support grant applications and manage research grants awarded to NDCS
• Maintain the research dashboard on grant matters
• Compile and gather research metrics from clinicians and researchers
