[What you will be working on]

• Develop curriculum and deliver courses related to Visual Communication Design, Motion Graphics, Film & Digital Media, Advertising, Content Strategy and Marketing

• Supervise and manage design deliverables on advertising and marketing campaigns, brand experience on physical and digital platforms

• Coach and mentor learners and be involved in learner development activities beyond the classroom

• Lead or support in overseas student exchanges, study trips, engage with the industry

• Undertake academic administration and committee work, provide support to learners, and assist in outreach

[What we are looking for]

• Relevant qualifications in Visual Communication Design, Digital Media, Digital Film/Motion Design, Interaction Design or equivalent

• Strong storytelling and visual aesthetics skills with at least 5 years of relevant experience in Branding, Advertising & Digital Marketing, Design Media Production, Project Management

• Proficient in generative AI tools and application, Adobe Creative software, Video and Editing

• Proficiency in Motion Graphics, 3D software such as Cinema 4D is a plus.

• Committed to exploring current and future role of visual design in business, social and sustainable design

• At least 2 years’ experience in leading/ managing creative team

Relevant experience in one or more of the following areas:

• Storytelling through photography, film/cinematography

[What you will be working on]

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate students’ learning and growth, including providing pastoral care.
• Develop curriculum across Pre-Employment Training (PET) and adult learners for Continuing Education Training (CET), aligned to industry trends and needs.
• Deliver course content, which includes creating and administering course assessments, and carrying out project supervision, leading module teams where necessary.
• Evaluate and enhance curriculum design and course delivery by employing appropriate teaching and learning strategies. 
• Engage actively with industry stakeholders to keep up with emerging practices, trends and developments, or leading student projects and share insights with the team.
• Collaborate with industry stakeholders so that learners may leverage on them for enhanced learning.
• Lead or contribute to school or institutional committees to complement administrative/management/teaching and learning efforts.
• Lead or contribute to new initiatives of the school or institution, in response to changing needs in the industry. 

[What we are looking for]

Requirements:

• At least 4 years(s) of relevant experience of using the arts in community engagement and/or community development.

• Relevant qualifications in applied arts or other arts-based related disciplines.
• Passionate in developing individuals who are interested in community engagement/development.  
• Prior experience in design thinking, project management and knowledge of research methods will be an advantage.
• Prior experience in teaching/working with youths or curriculum development will be an advantage.
• Good intrapersonal and interpersonal skills.

Successful candidate will be offered a 2-year contract in the first instance.

What you will be working on

• Initiate and facilitate industry consultancy project(s) in the areas of digital marketing, e-Commerce and digital content production;

• Oversee the planning, execution, and successful completion of industry consultancies projects in digital marketing, e-Commerce, and digital content production;

• Mentor and guide students participating in industry consultancy projects;

• Conduct lectures, tutorials in business related subjects such as Marketing and Communications & Media Management;

• Develop relevant teaching materials for subjects which include setting of assessments;

• Enhance the quality of lesson design and delivery (e.g. e-learning, tutorial etc) through implementing appropriate teaching and learning strategies and methods;

• Design, develop and deliver customised workshops for adult learners;

• Undertake additional duties as assigned (eg academic related work, student/outreach activities) and contribute to poly-wide/school-wide events and/or activities.

What we are looking for

• Academic training in business related discipline

• 3-5 years of relevant experience

• Proven experience as a Digital Marketing and e-Commerce Specialist with a track record of delivering successful projects

• Strong digital content creation skills, with experience using software such as Adobe Creative Suite and Adobe Premiere

• Proficient in e-commerce implementation, with hands-on expertise in utilizing e-commerce implementation tools, such as WordPress, WooCommerce, and Shopify

• Adept in executing digital marketing strategies, demonstrating hands-on proficiency in utilizing tools like Google Ads, Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok

• A team player with strong communication skills and passionate in interacting with both re-employment and adult learners

• Ability to perform in a fast-paced yet collaborative work environment.
