Job Description
SEPPURE Pte Ltd is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Research Engineer to join our Applications Team in Singapore. The Research Engineer will work closely with the team to develop flatsheet and hollow fibre membranes for organic solvent nanofiltration applications. The Research Engineer will also be required to plan and conduct experiments to evaluate the performance of membranes, based on robust engineering and scientific techniques. The Research Engineer may also be required to assist in the evaluation of data and provide recommendations for membrane development.
Key Responsibilities
Membrane research and development
- Keep up-to-date with latest membrane technology development
- Support the development of dope formulation for membrane fabrication
- Modify processes to improve membrane performance
- Develop methods for membrane characterisation and performance evaluation
- Ensure high repeatability for experiments and data collection
- Maintain documentation and databases for research and development
Qualifications
Must have:
- B.Sc in chemical engineering or related fields
- Good understanding of polymer chemistry, design of experiment, data analysis and process troubleshooting
- Good problem-solving skills
- Team player with strong communication skills
Good to have:
- Working experience in developing hollow fiber or flat sheet membranes
Worked in a lab environment
