Job Description

The candidate reports to the Head of the NUS School of Computing Research Office and works closely with the research grant administration team to manage both internally funded as well as externally funded research grants from government agencies and industries. The candidate will receive training and the opportunity to carry out assignments in the following areas:

• Act as the primary liaison in the preparation and submission of project proposals, agreements, budget plans and reports.
• Administer research grants and reconcile accounts statements.
• Monitor the research project funds utilization and provide periodic updates.
• Coordinate with grantors, track the receipt of funds, prepare documents for audit and process payments and claims.
• Coordinate the re-appointments of research staff and the engagement of students.
• Liaise with researchers and vendors on the procurement of goods and services.
• Serve as secretariat for meetings and prepare presentation material.
• Coordinate the publicity and logistics preparation for conferences and workshops.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with no work experience or Polytechnic Diploma with work experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Demonstrate initiative and good interpersonal communication skills
• Good writing skills
• Analytical, numerate, resourceful and energetic
• Able to multi-task and deliver under tight deadlines
• Strong sense of customer service
• An initial 2 years' contract will be offered, subject for extension

Job Description

Reporting to the Head of Customised Executive Programmes (CEP), the Client Manager will be part of the business development team responsible for the overall go-to-market strategies and revenue targets.

The key focus of the role will be to:

• Execute business plans to achieve incremental revenue from new and existing corporate clients in the Asia-Pacific and global markets
• Engage corporations, government entities and academic institutions to identify opportunities for corporate training and development by managing, growing and sustaining effective relationships at multiple levels of an organisation with senior-level executives and individual decision-makers in targeted verticals across the region
• Partner with assigned clients, faculty and practitioners to successfully deliver custom programmes - this includes a hands-on approach to the design, delivery, and debrief phases of the programme including contracting and procurement processes
• Leverage the University's capabilities, networks, and platforms to deliver value-added programmes and services to our clients
• Maintain effective and open communication and work closely with internal teams to ensure a high-quality of programme delivery
• Maintain an understanding of key industry trends and the future of work, so as to become a trusted advisor to senior business leaders and Heads of L&D and Human Resources

Qualifications

To be successful in the role you should possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 10 years relevant experience working in account management, stakeholder engagement and project management and

• Have proven experience in driving new business in line with the organisation's strategic direction, priority targets, and budgets
• Be able to demonstrate a successful track record in maintaining and growing both existing and new relationships
• Have experience/strong interest in curriculum design relating to leadership capability development
• Possess effective communication skills with the ability to confidently engage and consult with senior-level internal and external clients of the School
• Thrive on actively contributing to a high-performance, client-centric culture
• Advanced knowledge and application of MS Office suite, especially PPT and willingness to embrace new technologies in the workplace
• Prior experience in Corporate Education/Training/ HR Consulting will be an advantage

Executive/Senior Executive, NUHS Education & Research Office (2 years contract)

Job Responsibilities:

To leverage data-driven insights and analysis in support of the overall mission and objectives of NUHS, aiming to improve patient care outcomes, enhance operational efficiency, drive innovation, and advance research, thereby contributing to the DataIU's mission of enhancing data-driven healthcare delivery, operational excellence, and research advancement.

You will be responsible for the following areas:

1. Data Sourcing and IntegrationAcquire, organize, and integrate diverse healthcare data sources, including EHRs, claims data, clinical trial data, and public health surveillance data.
   Ensure accuracy and consistency of data by applying knowledge of coding systems like ICD-10 and utilizing SQL for data querying and manipulation.
   Performance Measure: Timeliness and completeness of data integration, accuracy of data queries, and adherence to coding standards.
   
2. Statistical Analysis and Insight GenerationConduct advanced statistical analysis, data mining, and visualization techniques to uncover trends, patterns, and insights within healthcare data.
   Utilize statistical software packages (e.g., SAS, R, Python) and data manipulation libraries (e.g., pandas, dplyr) to perform analyses.

Job Requirements:

• Professional degree in quantitative field such as statistics, mathematics, computer science, epidemiology, public health, or related fields.
• Proficiency in statistical analysis, data mining, and data visualization techniques. Experience with statistical software packages such as SAS, R, or Python for data analysis and manipulation.
• Database Skills: Knowledge of SQL for querying and analyzing healthcare databases.
• Ability to interpret and analyze healthcare data to identify trends, patterns, and insights. Experience in preparing reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate findings to stakeholders.

The incumbent will be responsible to provide research administration for our researchers, support and facilitate research-related activities and reporting. The role will also be working closely with both our internal and external stakeholders in establishing research partnership and visibility of the school.
