Position Overview:

A Training Specialist is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing training programs within an organization. • Manage the entire course process, including coordinating training resources and providing logistical support.

4. Content Development:

• Research and update training materials (such as manuals, PowerPoint presentations, and videos).
• Introduce external high-quality resources to enrich course content and ensure practicality and innovation.

5. Project Training Effectiveness:

• Track training effectiveness and use data analysis to evaluate learning outcomes, suggesting improvements.
• Submit regular training reports to support decision-making for developers.

Requirements:

• A bachelor’s degree or higher in Marketing, Human Resources Management, Education, or a related field.
• At least 3-5 years of relevant training management experience, preferably in the food service, retail, or internet industries.
• Familiar with building training systems and project management processes.
• Capable of independently designing and implementing high-quality training programs, with experience in developing training materials.
• Proficient with modern training tools and technologies (such as online learning platforms, data analysis tools).
• Fluent in both written and spoken Chinese and English, with the ability to independently create bilingual training materials.

The Learning Specialist is responsible for delivering comprehensive training programmes that meet the diverse needs of corporate clients and industry partners such as trades and associations. The role involves managing learning initiatives locally and internationally, ensuring effective skill-building and knowledge transfer. The Learning Specialist will also establish strategic partnerships with industry associations and oversee corporate client training to support business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Partnerships with Trades & Associations

• Build and maintain relationships with key industry partners, trades, and professional associations to develop specialized training programs.
• Collaborate with association leadership to ensure training content aligns with industry standards and enhances member skills.
• Represent the organization at trade shows, conferences, and association events to promote learning initiatives and build partnerships.
• Provide regular updates to trades and associations regarding new learning opportunities and training outcomes.

Overseas Market Training

• Develop and deliver training programs tailored to the needs of overseas markets and ensuring cultural relevance.
• Partner with local stakeholders in international regions to customize and implement training that meets the needs of overseas clients.
• Facilitate in-person training sessions for global audiences, ensuring smooth coordination across time zones.

Corporate Client Training

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Education, Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in learning and development, corporate training, or partnership development with trades/associations.

Skills & Abilities:

• Promoting and selling preferably around learning and development or human capital solutions and outsourcing to enterprise clients
• Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
• Proven experience in facilitating both local and international training programs.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with external partners (e.g., associations, corporate clients).
• Strong organizational, interpersonal skills and project management skills.
• Ability to work across cultures and adapt training strategies to various learning styles.

Job Description

The shortlisted candidate will work with the school Dean and his team to manage SUSS's academic programmes, support examination activities and take charge of the School's student activities as well as external liaisons.

You will work closely with the Head of Programme and the school manager to oversee degree programmes and organise school-related events. You should have good communication and interpersonal skills, and able to work with academics, students, and other administrative executives. With the ability to multitask and attend to detail, you can handle various programme administrative tasks and projects efficiently within given timelines.
