Summary :
This role plays a crucial role in enhancing the skills and knowledge of employees within the industry. This position involves designing, implementing, and evaluating training programs to address the specific needs of the organization. This role requires a deep understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes and technologies, as well as effective training methodologies, creating, implementing and facilitating the organization’s Learning & Development plan and budget, ensuring that it is aligned to the organization’s overall goals and strategic plan as well as for all operational departments to follow through on their training and development commitments.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Design, Creates, Plans and Executes L&D Programmes

• Develop comprehensive L&D programs tailored to the needs of various departments within the industry (both technical & soft skills training).
• Assists in the delivery of programmes as assigned.
• Coordinates and follows up on all corporate, internal and external L&D initiatives and programmes.

2. Training Delivery

• Facilitate training sessions either in person or through digital platforms, ensuring engagement and knowledge retention among participants.

3. Training Evaluation

• Assess the effectiveness of training programs through feedback mechanisms, performance evaluations, and other metrics.
• Continuously refine the improve training materials and delivery methods based on feedback and performance data.

4. Learning & Development Plan and Budget

• Ensuring that plan & budget are aligned to the organization’s overall goals and strategic plan as well as for all operational departments to follow through on their training and development commitments.

5. Collaboration

• Work closely with department heads, HR personnel, and subject matter experts to identify training needs and develop targeted solutions.
• Collaborate with external training providers or educational institutions as needed to supplement internal training efforts.

6. Documentation and Reporting

• Maintain accurate records of training activities, including attendance, evaluation, and training materials.
• Prepare reports for management detailing the impact of training initiatives on employee performance and organizational goals.

7. Compliance

• Ensure training programs comply with relevant regulations, industry standards, and internal policies.
• Stay updated on changes in regulations or best practices related to training and development within the semiconductor manufacturing industry.

8. Coordinates Industrial Attachment and Internship Programmes

• Liaises with local and foreign educational institutions to recruit and select students for internship placement in the organization.

9. L&D Administration

• Maintains appropriate systems to record and measure necessary aspects of colleagues’ L&D.
• Assists in the planning of an ongoing L&D calendar and shares it with management to ensure that learning resources and opportunities are maximised.
• Liaises with Workforce Singapore and administers SkillsFuture claims for relevant courses.

10. Professional Development

• Stay abreast of advancements in semiconductor manufacturing or technology manufacturing processes to continuously update and expand knowledge base.
• Pursue opportunities for professional development to enhance skills in instructional design, training facilitation, and talent development.

Job Requirement:

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field such as Education, Human Resources, Engineering or Semiconductor Technology. Advanced degree or certifications in Training and Development are a plus.
• Prior experience in training and development roles within semiconductor manufacturing industry or a related field.
• Deep understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes, equipment, and technologies.
• Strong facilitation and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and motivate diverse groups of learners.
• Proficiency in instructional design methodologies and learning management systems.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Ability to speak other languages and basic understanding of local languages and dialects an advantage.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to assess training needs, evaluate program effectiveness, make data-driven decisions.
• Familiarity with relevant regulations and compliance requirements in the semiconductor or manufacturing industry.

Boeing Training and Flight Services is looking for a Simulator Instructor Manager - Flight Training Standardization to join our team in Singapore.

This position is in support of the Global Flight Training Standardization Team. The GFTS team supports internal global instructor standardization, AOSS Deployment, CBTA Deployment Team, customer training, and the global examiner program.

Position Responsibilities:

• Manages a team of standardization simulator-flight instructors to deliver training design and simulator operation/training compliant with company standards and civil or military in-country/international aviation regulatory requirements
• Conducts evaluations and assessments of pilots and instructors undergoing training in accordance with regulatory requirements and standards
• Ensures simulator flight instructors meet relevant regulatory, company and customer requirements and standards
• Manages the delivery of simulator flight instruction strategies and programs across all locations within assigned responsibility
• Develops operational plans aligned to the training business objectives
• Assists in the development of the operational budget
• Manages the deployment of operational resources to meet training delivery plan
• Provides advice, guidance and oversight to senior business leaders, managers, and customers on achievement of operational delivery objectives and evaluation and accreditation of the trainees
• Ensures that all training materials are up to date and reflect best industry practice
• Briefs senior management on relevant changes to regulatory issues that impact courseware and/or training methodologies
• Responsible for discussion/negotiations with customers and relevant regulatory agencies
• Manages, develops and motivates employees
• Ensures full compliance with local regulatory requirements and company policies

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• 3+ years of simulator instructor experience specifically with transport category airplanes
• 3+ years of experience leading and/or managing a team
• Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) rating or equivalent. Either active or expired is acceptable.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Bachelor’s degree or higher

Job summary

1) Responsible for the development of new product formulations (wet towels, liquid products and any new products that company may develop), including improvement of existing formulations.

2) Ensure that all wet towels/products comply to the relevant statutory board standards, including the submission of relevant documents.

3) To work as part of a R&D/QA/QC team.

Area of responsibilities

1) Research and develops new product formulations (wet towel, liquid products and any new products that company may develop) for local market and overseas clients including improvement of existing formulations.

2) Check and reviews product data sheet (PDS), certificate of analysis (COA), safety data sheet (SDS) and provides technical support to Sales & Marketing.

3) Conducts product validation and stability testing especially for new formulations or any major changes in existing formulations and troubleshoots quality and microbial issues.

4) Research and reviews product testing & analysis appropriate for product claims and coordinate with qualified local and overseas laboratories for final product testing.

5) Provide analytical service in the assessment and evaluation of raw materials, samples and products submitted by customers or affiliates.

6) Formulates, updates and revises, when necessary, the quality assurance systems/quality control procedures of the Company.

7) Assists, if needed, in the physico-chemical evaluation and microbial analysis of raw materials, packaging materials and finished goods.

8) Assist to investigates internal and external (customer) complaints and review the Non-Conformance Report (NCR) before submission.

9) Assist QA in Supplier’s audit in accordance with In-house Standards & Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) standards.

10) Represents R&D Department and act as a committee member in industry certifications (i.e. ISO 9001, ISO 22301, ISO 13485, GMP, EU MDR).

11) Prepares technical documents and apply for product notifications and registrations to government agencies such as HSA, NEA etc.

12) Assist overseas manufacturing facilities (China, Indonesia) on formulations and technical documentations if needed.

13) Supervise and manage R&D/QA/QC team (training, leave approval, others).

14) Any other area of responsibilities that the company deems necessary.

Requirements

1. Degree in Chemistry/Pharmaceutical Science or any related courses.

2. Must have at least 3 years experience in Manufacturing/Product Development/Regulations.

3. Knowledge in Medical Industry will be an advantage.
