What the role is

This teaching role is under the School of Business.

What you will be working on

• Initiate and facilitate industry consultancy project(s) in the areas of digital marketing, e-Commerce and digital content production;

• Oversee the planning, execution, and successful completion of industry consultancies projects in digital marketing, e-Commerce, and digital content production;

• Mentor and guide students participating in industry consultancy projects;

• Conduct lectures, tutorials in business related subjects such as Marketing and Communications & Media Management;

• Develop relevant teaching materials for subjects which include setting of assessments;

• Enhance the quality of lesson design and delivery (e.g. e-learning, tutorial etc) through implementing appropriate teaching and learning strategies and methods;

• Design, develop and deliver customised workshops for adult learners;

• Undertake additional duties as assigned (eg academic related work, student/outreach activities) and contribute to poly-wide/school-wide events and/or activities.

What we are looking for

• Academic training in business related discipline

• Proven experience as a Digital Marketing and e-Commerce Specialist with a track record of delivering successful projects

• Strong digital content creation skills, with experience using software such as Adobe Creative Suite and Adobe Premiere

• Proficient in e-commerce implementation, with hands-on expertise in utilizing e-commerce implementation tools, such as WordPress, WooCommerce, and Shopify

Senior Instructor (LEAD)

[What you will be working on]
• Identify, design and organise leadership programmes for students, including leading students on overseas trips.
• Facilitate learning and engagement of high academic achievers and student leaders in areas of personal and leadership development.
• Coordinate and liaise with internal and external partners, vendors, and government organisations on student leadership programmes and CCA groups.
• Administration of student leadership programmes and CCA groups including procurement of contracts, student recruitment and publicity.
• Ability to conduct programme data analysis to identify and bridge competency gaps.
• Ability to utilize or engage vendors to utilise digitalization tools to supplement student engagement and interaction beyond the classroom.
• Provide care, guidance, and mentorship to students on personal and leadership development.

- Lead local and overseas learning trips, adventure learning and/or service learning projects
- Manage the administration of the programmes
- Analyse and evaluate the effectiveness of programmes and activities
• Coordinate and liaise with external partners, vendors, and government organisations on student leadership programmes.
• Facilitate and manage CCA groups, and be the liaison between students, key partners and stakeholders.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to students within the CCA groups.

• Manage the day to day running of culinary production areas to the highest standard
• Ensure that all assets are operationally ready for daily running of all kitchens

[What you will be working on]

Responsibilities:-

• Conduct lessons, create teaching and assessment materials, and facilitate learning of students (youths and adult learners)
• Develop and maintain new/existing teaching curriculum.  This includes regular review of existing curriculum and make recommendations on areas of improvements that would enhance students’ learning, performance and employability.
• Keep current and abreast of trends and developments of Infocomm Security Management
• Support the School’ strategic initiatives through involvement in committee work and projects such as process improvement projects, development and management of new courses

[What we are looking for]

Requirements:-

• Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience in either web and application programming, application security/penetration testing, risk & vulnerability assessment, threat management and defence, security operations and incident response with practical hands-on experience or computer/mobile forensics and investigation.
• Passionate about education and possess strong interest in teaching and mentoring both youths and adult learners.
• Self-driven, independent and possess readiness to work as a team.
• Good knowledge of both Linux and Windows based environments.
• Familiar with the various IT security standards and frameworks, IT best practices, IT security compliance and audit standards.
• Proficient in at least one of the programming languages (Python, JavaScript, Java, C, C++, PHP).
• Information and cyber security membership (e.g. AiSP).
• Relevant qualification in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Engineering, or related studies.  Certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CISM, OSCP, OSWP, QISP or in the relevant domain will have an added advantage.

Successful candidate will be offered a 2-year contract in the first instance.
