Job Desciption
We are seeking a reliable and caring individual to join our team as a Student Care Childminder. Childminder will be responsible for providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for Children and Young Persons under their care. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children, excellent communication skills, and the ability to create engaging activities that promote learning and development.
1. Perform essential care and ensure well-being of Children and Young Persons (including cleaning infants and toddlers after defecating, changing diapers, preparing powdered formula, feeding infants and toddlers, accompanying toddlers to the toilet, etc.);
2. Ensure the safety of the Children and Young Persons within the premises;
3. Engage Children and Young Persons in activities or play;
4. Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the premises (including sanitising the toys, books, etc. at the beginning and end of each day, and whenever necessary);
5. Accompany Children and Young Persons to/at hospitals or Voluntary Children’s Homes (VCHs) for placement and handle all administrative paperwork as required; and
6. Any other duties assigned by MSF.
7. Default reporting will be at MSF Building.
Requirements:
• One (1) year of experience in caring for children aged between 0-12 years old
• Minimum O Level or Diploma holders or Higher Nitec in Early Childhood
• Certification in CPR and First Aid (preferred but not required)
• Ability to pass a background check
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for children
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
• Willingness to undergo additional training and professional development as required
Working Hours:
Afternoon Shift
1pm - 10pm on weekdays (excluding public holidays)
Salary:
$1800 to $2200 for 8h full time work.
