We’re Hiring

Furen International School is looking for full-time high school teacher trainees who can teach either Chemistry, Physics, or Mathematics. We're looking for qualified individuals who can assist international learners prepare and improve their grades in academic exams like Cambridge IGCSE, Singapore - Cambridge GCE O-Level & GCE A-Level, CIE A- Level. We also provide IELTS and ACT programmes.

Job Description

As a teacher trainee with no experience, you'll not only receive guided training, but also prepare learners for academic exams in your respective subjects, plan and deliver class lessons, and mark assignments. Classes are held daily from Monday to Friday, and our working hours are standard, from 9.30 am - 6.30 pm daily except on public holidays.

We are looking for teachers to specialise in the following:

Chemistry

Physics

Mathematics

Job Requirements

• Bachelor degree and an excellent grade in A-level Chemistry/Physics/Mathematics. You are motivating and encouraging in helping learners excel. As this is a trainee position, no experience is required. All you need is a passion for teaching!

Scope:

• Support course registration processing.
• Handle students’ annual progress report.
• Process Qualification Exam, Thesis and Oral Exam.
• Handle student’s enquiries.
• Process Semestral Leave of Absence and withdrawal application.
• Process approvals for all local & overseas conference cum attachments.
• Organize seminars
• Support arrangements for orientation.
• Preparation of email announcements for all matters related to (e.g. seminar
• announcements, oral examination etc).
• Work closely with Club on events to increase engagement
• Prepare and coordinate logistical support for meetings / events.
• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements:

• Minimum Degree in Business/ relevant disicipline
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Team player

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from a reputable institution. Advanced scientific degrees are highly valued (Master’s and above).
• Prior internship experience in Big Tech, equity research, investment banking, or consulting is beneficial.
• A deep passion for equity markets and investment research.
• Exceptional skills in financial modeling, numerical analysis, and analytical reasoning, with a talent for quantitative work involving financial and economic data.
• Familiarity with financial statements and equity valuation methodologies.
• Proficiency in data analytics and coding is preferred (E.g., Python, R).
• Ability to multitask, work meticulously and excel in a fast-paced environment, with a strong commitment to excellence.
• Highest standards of work ethic, pro-active with the ability to follow through tasks.
• Fluency in English; additional language skills, especially Mandarin, are beneficial.
