The Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences (HASS) Cluster at Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD) seeks applicants for a full-time lecturer or senior lecturer teaching-track position in the social sciences. Appointments will be made on an initial two- or three-year contract with the possibility of renewal, including opportunities for career development and promotion within the teaching-track.

We seek applicants from any of the social sciences (economics, sociology, anthropology, psychology, etc.) who have a strong background and interest in teaching classical and contemporary social science theory and methods. Successful applicants will teach in our team-taught introductory core course Social Science: Understanding Culture, Society and Behaviour. In addition, successful applicants will also teach 1 or 2 electives of their own design that contribute to our cluster’s teaching mission as a HASS cluster within an engineering and design university.

Candidates who can contribute through teaching and research to our Minor Degree program in Design, Technology, and Society—a design-focused variant of Science, Technology, and Society studies (STS)—are especially encouraged to apply. We are looking for a committed Maths TEACHER (Cambridge A level) to complement our qualified workforce of educators.

Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for preparing and implementing a full educational teaching plan according to the school’s requirements. It will be fundamental to provide knowledge and instruction to students while also helping them develop their personalities and skills.

Specifically:
