Job Description
Teaching and Learning:
1. To implement and deliver an appropriately broad-based, balanced,
relevant and differentiated EdTech curriculum, including Maker activities,
to students from Primary 1 to 6 levels.
2. To monitor and support the overall progress and development of
students.
3. To facilitate learning which provides students with the opportunity to
achieve their individual potential through EdTech learning experiences,
e.g. training and sending selected students out for competitions.
4. To support and be aligned to the school’s aspiration and responsibility
in providing opportunities to develop students holistically.
Planning:
1. To assist in the development of appropriate schemes of work towards
identified EdTech and Maker activities’ syllabuses. To develop teaching
resources, schemes of work, assessment policies and teaching strategies
in the identified EdTech curriculum area.
2. To contribute to the EdTech development in the school and the ICT
department’s development plan and its implementation.
3. To ensure department documentation and practice in relation to Health
and Safety is in place and adhered to (based on regulatory requirement).
4. To assist in the developmental process of a school-based EdTech
curriculum to ensure its relevance for alignment to the needs of students,
examining and awarding bodies and the Authority’s ethos.
5. To work in collaboration with the ICT Technical Team ensure that the
ICT equipment is in good working order and suitable for teaching and
learning use.
General Duties:
1. Support in EdTech-related teaching and learning matters and students
as appropriate.
2. Be continuously updated on the latest EdTech-related and ICT-related
skillset which are deemed important to support one in carrying out the
professional duties in this role.
3. Support the ICT team in operational matters.
Knowledge:
1. A full awareness of the current issues relating to the EdTech
development in schools.
2. Proficient knowledge in the use of EdTech.
3. Basic programming knowledge.

Requirements
1. A Diploma, preferably in an Information Technology-related
discipline
2. Basic software programming skills.
