In this role, you will be a key part of the system infrastructure team, responsible for maintaining and enhancing both on-premise environments and Government on Commercial Cloud (GCC) systems. Key Responsibilities:

• Provision, install, configure, operate, and maintain systems hardware and software, ensuring robust infrastructure support.
• Manage both on-premise and GCC environments, ensuring seamless operations and system availability.

• Ensure that system hardware, operating systems, software, and related procedures comply with organizational standards.
• Manage and support systems such as:

The activities required to be performed shall include the following:

A. Technical support services for Integrated Application Lifecycle Management (iALM) system.

B. Monitor and maintain iALM applications and its infrastructure in production and non-production environment.

C. Troubleshoot and resolve iALM incidents raised by users as per SLA.

D. Coordinate with the users, either face-to-face, emails or over the phone and establish good working relationship.

E. Set up new user’s accounts and profiles

F. Liaises with the iALM product IT support when necessary.

G. Ensure integration and connectivity of iALM with other systems.

H. Provide training for users on updated iALM workflows, features and recommend best practices.

I. Support users to publish documents and create templates.

J. Support users to build and release software in the production environment.

K. Upgrade iALM applications to the recommended version.

L. Recommend optimal processes and workflows customized to achieve better system performance.

M. Review and update user guide on new application features and its usage.

N. Report weekly status on issues status and system resources utilization.

The candidates should have the following skillsets:

A. Tertiary qualification in Information Technology or Engineering.

B. Technical skills in Javascript, VB script, HTML, CSS, .NET.

C. Understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)/QA processes.

D. 2 years’ experience of maintaining IT system/iALM application such as Microfocus solutions will be added advantage.

E. Good analytical and problem solving skills.

F. Worked in user-centric environment with focus on quality delivery.

The activities required to be performed shall include the following:

A. Test and commissioning of network equipment for production environment

B. Design, configure and review the network configurations with the contractors

C. Perform the full DR swing to test on the system and network when triggered

D. Configure and manage the firewall, routers, switches and wireless access point

E. Design and segregate the voice and data Vlans which integrate to the backend system

F. Configure the network monitoring system and able to be monitored with statistical data and provide alerts when the equipment is down

G. Set up and integrate the network from the from front end devices to communicate to the backend system such as Payment System and other systems if any.

H. Support and troubleshoot on the network issues during implementation and daily operation.

I. Provide and configure network security hardening for all network equipment based on security requirement.

J. Track and resolve network related incidents and requests within Service Level Agreement (SLA).

K. Prepare documentation on the Network Architecture Design.

L. Maintain the IP address listing for production and non-production environment.

The candidate should have the following skillsets:

A. Recognized degree or diploma in Information Technology or Engineering with at least 3 years’ relevant experience in system & network administration.

B. Good written and verbal communication skills.

C. Able to work well both independently and in a team

D. Possess a strong interest and self-motivation to install, configure and maintain system/network services, equipment and devices, provide system/ network support and request, investigate, troubleshoot issues and provide resolution, i.e. including managing user accounts and access.

E. Competent and having a sound knowledge (Configure and troubleshoot) of various network protocols and topologies, including a broad knowledge of WLAN, switches, routers, servers, IPS/IDS and firewalls

F. Able to perform network monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, network resources, systems and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs such as backups, and related administration tasks.

G. Able to administer anti-virus, anti-spam and network security system, i.e. Firewalls, TDA and NAC.

H. Experience with implementing the network devices hardening requirements.

I. Relevant experience in monitoring and reviewing performance of network and ability to perform capacity planning.
