Experience: 5-15 years in energy storage, battery production, material management, and cell material characterization
Education: PhD or Master's degree in Engineering or related field
Key responsibilities :
- Lead engineering teams in the development and optimization of energy storage solutions, focusing on battery production processes and material management.
- Oversee the procurement, inventory management, and quality control of cathode, separator, and anode materials for battery production.
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement in cell material characterization techniques to enhance product performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of materials and processes into battery manufacturing.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to meet production targets, quality standards, and cost-efficiency goals.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to resolve complex engineering issues and optimize production processes.
- Foster a culture of excellence, innovation, and safety within the engineering team.
- Coordinate with suppliers and research institutions to stay updated on the latest advancements in battery materials and manufacturing technologies.
- Lead projects related to scale-up, capacity expansion, and process optimization in alignment with business objectives.
- Demonstrate strong leadership skills in mentoring, coaching, and developing engineering talent to achieve individual and team success.
Ideal profile:
- Master’s or PhD degree in Engineering or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 5-15 years of progressive experience in engineering roles within the energy storage, battery production, or related industries.
- Strong expertise in manufacturing processes, material management, and cell material characterization.
- Demonstrated leadership experience in leading cross-functional engineering teams and managing complex projects.
- Proficiency in problem-solving, data analysis, and decision-making in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations, particularly in the energy storage sector.
- Hands-on experience with process optimization, equipment selection, and technology evaluation.
- Proven track record of driving innovation and continuous improvement in engineering processes and products.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, multicultural environment and adapt to evolving business needs and priorities.
