• Lead a small team -2-3 pax

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate the day-to-day operations of the ocean freight department. (Export, and you must be familiar with the DG shipments, and must be a hands-on personnel)
• Implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and service quality.
• Develop and maintain relationships with shipping lines, port operators, and other key stakeholders.
• Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes affecting ocean freight operations.
• Prepare reports and analyses on department performance for upper management.
• Ensure compliance with all international trade and shipping regulations.

REQUIREMENTS

• Tertiary Education, preferably with freight forwarding (FCL/LCL) experience.
• Minimum 3-5years work-related experience in Ocean Freight Procurement.
• A team Leading and self-motivated individual
• Ability to engage with various internal and external stakeholders
• Detailed and meticulous
• A confident personality with strong interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills.
