Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop mechanical systems for greenfield residential and commercial projects, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
• Prepare detailed design drawings, calculations, and specifications in compliance with project requirements and local regulations.
• Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems.
• Conduct site inspections to monitor installation and ensure adherence to design specifications and quality standards.
• Manage project timelines, deliverables, and budgets related to mechanical engineering work.
• Stay up to date with advancements in sustainable and energy-efficient mechanical design practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, particularly in greenfield residential and commercial building projects.
• Strong proficiency in mechanical design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit).
• Knowledge of building codes, sustainability practices, and energy-efficient designs.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Job duties:

• Dealing with commissioning of complete UPS and rectifier systems including batteries from Lead acid.
• Testing newly built UPS and rectifiers according to client specification and requirements and conducts Factory Acceptance Test.
• Carrying out contract maintenance and inspection on a plan base on manufacturers’ recommendations.
• With all planning of maintenance service administration undertaken within suitable instructions.
• Submitting required reports to service administration in a timely manner following all site activities.
• Ensuring team efforts are met and exceeded performance targets and reliability goals including being prepared to travel overseas on business trip within short notice and work irregular hours at times to meet ad-hoc job assignments.
• Providing comprehensive facility, critical environment management and technical services to the client, with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Ensuring all safety procedures, including Crisis Management/ Business Continuity and Emergency Procedures are maintained at all times to ensure that service delivery teams and on-site contractors undergo a Health and Safety Induction prior to deployment.
