AMT Pte Ltd is seeking an Industrial Automation Engineer to manage the following scope:

• In-House Automation Systems and Control

Scope:

Design / Development & Implementation

• System Design

Design and develop control systems and automation solutions using PLCs for various applications, including but not limited to manufacturing processes, material handling, and machinery control.

• Programming and Configuration

Write, test, and debug PLC software programs to meet the specific needs of an automation project.

• Simulation and Testing

Create simulations to test PLC program logic and system designs before deployment to ensure they meet the required specifications and performance criteria.

• Installation and Commissioning

Oversee the installation of automation systems and perform commissioning activities to ensure that they operate correctly and meet project and safety requirements.

• Documentation

Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation, including system designs, specifications, and operational manuals.

• Troubleshooting and Repair

Diagnose and rectify issues with PLC systems and automation equipment, sound problems-solving skills.

• Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams

Work closely with the Mechanical Design Engineers to ensure that automation systems meet the needs of all stakeholders.

• Vendor Liaison

Coordinate with equipment suppliers and vendors for the procurement of system components, technical support, and warranty services.

• Training and Support

Provide training and technical support to end-users and maintenance teams, ensuring they understand how to operate and maintain the automation systems effectively.

• Safety Standards Compliance

Ensure all the automation solutions comply with all the relevant safety standards and regulations.

Requirement

1. Degree/Diploma in Electrical/ Electronics/ Automation / Mechatronics
2. 3 or more years working experience in PLC Control Program design and implementation in industrial automation.
3. Proficient in Keyence PLC / ABB Robots is an added advantage.
4. IT knowledge for Server/Client and Infrastructure
5. Electrical, instrumentations and control knowledge
6. Evidence of independent and can-do attitude

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage project schedule and ensure work performed within desired quality and stipulated schedule.
• Ensure client’s specification and requirements understood and executed so as to provide good engineering solutions.
• Prepare engineering documents which include process & quality plan.
• Improve production yield.

Job Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering with at least 2 years of relevant experience OR
• Diploma Mechanical Engineering with at least 4 years of relevant experience
• 2~4 years of experience in a Manufacturing sector will be an added advantage.
• Data driven with sharp analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication skills.
