We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Engineer to join our team, with expertise in electrical panel design, fabrication and knowledge of PLC and HMI. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and hands-on experience in manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Electrical Panel Design & Fabrication:
- Design and layout electrical control panels, ensuring compliance with industry standards, client requirements, and operational needs.
- Specify and select appropriate components such as PLCs, protection relays, circuit breakers, and other devices based on technical and functional requirements.
- Oversee panel fabrication processes, including material selection, wiring, and assembly, to ensure adherence to design specifications and quality standards.
- Schematic Drawings & Documentation:
- Develop and produce detailed electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and single-line diagrams using CAD tools (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical).
- Create comprehensive Bill of Materials (BOMs) and maintain accurate project documentation.
- PLC Programming & Integration:
- Program, configure, and integrate PLC systems to support panel functionality.
- Design control logic and troubleshoot issues during system testing and commissioning.
- Project Management & Collaboration:
- Work closely with project managers, mechanical engineers, and production teams to meet deadlines and quality expectations.
- Provide technical support during the installation and commissioning of electrical panels.
- Compliance & Standards:
- Ensure designs and fabricated panels comply with relevant electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations (e.g., IEC, NEC, UL).
- Conduct regular reviews to ensure compliance with updates in industry standards and practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Extensive experience in electrical panel design, schematic drawings, and panel fabrication.
- Hands-on knowledge of PLC programming, configuration, and integration.
- Skilled in using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, SolidWorks Electrical).
Strong understanding of electrical systems, components, and industry standards.
