Requirements:

- Degree in Computer science / IT / Engineering or equivalent
- Highly motivated and self-driven to complete assignments with the limited resources and tight schedule
- Good understanding of Software Development Lifecycle and Agile methodologies
- Experience in coding in either Python, Node.JS, Java or Go
- Experience working with Linux, Windows operating systems and open-source software and communities
- Knowledge in containerization such as Docker, OpenShift and Kubernetes
- Knowledge in Web services, REST architecture and messaging protocols such as MQTT
- Develop and review test plan and conducting acceptance tests
- Good communication and documentation skills
- At least 2 years of working experience in software/firmware development
- Ability to learn new programming languages/frameworks and to work closely with different groups of users, external contractors and/or subject matter experts

What you’ll be doing:

• Design, develop and maintain source codes in DSO pipeline
• Ensure seamless integration with external systems within MCC or other networks (e.g. OneNS moments integration, OneOASIS)
• Strong track record in software systems design and implementation
• Optimize apps for performance, security and backend processing
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment to application functionalities
• Deliver quality software code that meets the in-house coding standards

What you’ll need:

• Diploma and/or degree in Computer Science, Computing, Cyber Security or IT or any equivalent
• At least 3 years’ experience in system design and implementation in cloud with AWS technologies
• Experience in developing & maintaining secure
• Java Backends with the Spring Framework & Spring Boot
• React (Web) and React Native (Mobile) Front-End in Typescript
• Spring applications based on Spring Security
• Experience in setup & administration of SQL databases (Microsoft SQL Server preferred)
• Experience in doing performance tests with jMeter
• Experience in technical writing to document developed system
• Experience in Application Security, able to understand security reports and make changes based on threatspresented as well as explain
• Experience in CI/CD pipelines, in order to manage existing gitlab repos and build flows
• Able to investigate and raise issues found to the relevant parties
• Experience in Agile methodologiesand use supporting tools such as JIRA/Confluence
