Job title: IT Engineer

Work Location: Singapore, On-Site

Position Overview:

The IT Engineer is responsible for the IT Operations and Maintenance of the company. You will work closely with our Global IT Department to ensure the optimal performance, security, and reliability of our IT infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

IT Environment and Policy:

• Ensure a seamless IT working environment by implementing and enforcing IT policies and procedures according to our company guidelines.
• Provide responsive IT Helpdesk services and conduct necessary training sessions internally to enhance team proficiency.

IT Procurement Management:

• Oversee IT procurement activities, including but not limited to laptops, desktops, monitors, accessories, network devices, and software.
• Collaborate with vendors to ensure cost-effective and timely acquisition of IT equipment and services.

Server Management:

• Install and provide support for server hardware and operating systems.
• Manage Microsoft Active Directory, ensuring user accounts, permissions, and security policies are properly configured.
• Configure and maintain essential server components such as Antivirus servers, File and Print infrastructure, and other critical services.

Networking:

• Monitor, manage and enhance WAN/LAN accessibility and security.
• Collaborate with the network team to optimize network performance and address issues promptly.
• Implement improvements to ensure the reliability and efficiency of the network infrastructure.

Security Services:

• Implement and enforce IT security policies to safeguard organizational assets.
• Conduct vulnerability management to identify and address potential security risks.

Qualification/ Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or related technical field.
• Minimum of 3 years of practical experience in IT.
• Hands-on experience in networking configuration, IT device maintenance, troubleshooting, and security reinforcement.
• Familiarity with Linux operating systems and system optimization is a strong plus.
• Proactive approach to handling responsibilities with a strong sense of duty.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with team members and end-users.
