What you will be doing:

• Provide leadership to the Chiller Systems maintenance team members in providing chiller maintenance, repair and annual shutdowns.
• Manage the team to achieve set targets.
• Keep updated in the latest development in chiller technology and offer advice to the team, practical technical information.
• Recommend, quote and advise internal & external customers on technical & cost matters pertaining to chiller maintenance, repair and annual shutdowns.
• Increase revenue for ACMV mobile team according to company’s plan and direction.
• Sourcing of contractor & supplier.
• Provide technical advice relating to chillers, ACMV systems to site managers when necessary.
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned whenever required

You are:

• Bachelor/ Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 5 years relevant work experience including hands-on experience in troubleshooting & repairing Trane, Smardt, Climaveneta, Daikin, Carrier chillers etc. and annual shutdowns
• Experience in dealing with building owners, contractors, OEM distributors will be advantageous
• Possess Class 3 licence will be an advantageous.
• While your Job Description is defined in your Letter of Offer, you may be required to perform any related duties as required and directed.
• You shall be required to take accountability and ownership of Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) standards and outcomes in building up a Safety Culture.

• Instrument Installation, Operation and Maintenance:
  • Install, configure, and maintain measurement instruments and equipment on-site.
  • Follow up and coordinate regular calibration and troubleshooting to ensure accuracy and functionality.
• Measurement and Data Management:
  • Conduct measurement and verification activities to gather accurate data.
  • Analyze data and prepare detailed reports on findings and recommendations.
• Independent Operation:
  • Work independently to complete tasks and manage projects with minimal supervision.
  • Develop and follow detailed work plans to meet project timelines.
• Technical Support and Quality Assurance:
  • Provide technical support and guidance to colleagues and project teams.
  • Implement quality control measures to maintain the integrity of collected data.
• Collaboration and Compliance:
  • Work closely with engineers and project managers to support overall project goals.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, clients, and team members.
  • Adhere to all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations and industry standards.

Requirements :

• Minimally with Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or any other related disciplines
• Strong technical skills and hands-on experience with measurement equipment.
• Proficiency with Digital Tools, capable of using software and digital tools for data collection, analysis, and report generation.
• Strong electrical knowledge and the ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings, such as electrical single-line and P&ID diagrams.
• Ability to work independently and manage projects with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
