About the Role

We are seeking a proficient and detail-oriented Calypso Developer Engineer to join our team. The role involves developing solutions in Java for Calypso version 14 and above, supporting the production release roadmap, and troubleshooting issues to ensure system stability.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Calypso versions higher than 13, exceptional Java development skills, and a proven ability to work in AGILE environments. This position is an excellent opportunity to work on complex systems and contribute to critical business operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Development and Implementation:Design, develop, and enhance features in Java for Calypso version 14 and above.
   Collaborate with stakeholders to implement solutions aligned with business requirements.
   
2. Production Support:Support the production release roadmap, ensuring smooth deployment and system functionality.
   Address post-release issues promptly to minimize impact on operations.
   
3. Issue Troubleshooting and Resolution:Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in production environments.
   Ensure root cause analysis is conducted for recurring problems and provide sustainable fixes.
   
4. Collaboration & AGILE Practices:Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, testers, and system administrators, to deliver seamless solutions.
   Actively participate in AGILE ceremonies, such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
   

Qualifications and Skills

• Technical Expertise:Excellent programming skills in Java and experience working with Calypso versions higher than v13.
  Strong knowledge of PL/SQL and Linux environments.
  
• Methodologies & Tools:Proven track record in AGILE frameworks, including iterative delivery and collaborative development practices.
  
• Problem-Solving:Exceptional analytical and troubleshooting skills to resolve complex system issues.
  
• Soft Skills:Strong communication and collaboration skills for effective teamwork.
  Organized and detail-oriented approach to managing multiple priorities.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or an IT-related field.
• Experience in financial services or a similar industry.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and processes for managing production releases.
• Certification in AGILE (e.g., Certified ScrumMaster) or Java development.
