• Perform testing and commissioning of complex servers and storage products
• Perform quality assurance and risk assessments of end products
• Handle re-configurations in accordance to customer’s specifications
• Software loadings
• Basic knowledge of server and able to handle failure analysis (FA).
• Able to identify various error codes for individual failed server given by the diagnostic program
• UNIX and hardware based troubleshoot and rework on the failed server unit.

• Conduct time and motion studies to identify touch time elements which represent part of manufacturing process across all customer's product models.
• Analyzes data and process to establish the cookbook and compute touch time and non-touch time of each product model through E2E process
• Investigate current processes and drive continuous improvements projects for quality, productivity, and cost effectiveness

Job Description:

• Direct the efforts of the product/process engineering function, including supervision of the engineers, setting up the NPI process, procedures and reports. Provides project and team leadership for the Process Engineering Group and also will be responsible for evaluating, monitoring and providing high level guidance and leadership.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of product/process engineers to support complex server/storage system CTO/BTO operations.
• Design and develop technical procedures for production and customers.
• Provide technical support to Engineers/Technicians and customers to solve complex problems
• Lead and/or support automation and kaizen projects in production line
• Provide technical documents written for product/process support and perform changes to the documents, provide training to production and review the effectiveness for enhancement.
• Manages and coordinates activities of Product/Process Engineering Team, including periodically process compliance internal audit and customer audit, and drive for proper closure and effective continuous improvement.
• Support 5S and lean initiatives.
• Perform all other duties, as assigned.

Job Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Ability to read and correlate schematic diagrams and layout drawings.
• Familiar with PDM and BOM structure
• Good knowledge in SAP, 8D, PDCA and PFMEA
