You will be involved in leading the planning and implementation of the Automated People Mover (APM) systems for Changi Airport's Terminal 5, set to be one of the world's largest airport terminals when completed.

Job Description:

• Oversee the comprehensive planning, design, procurement, and implementation of APM systems.
• Manage and coordinate with internal teams, external stakeholders, consultants, and contractors to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
• Explore and incorporate the latest innovations and technologies to achieve a world-class APM system for Terminal 5.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant standards and regulations throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies as necessary.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical/computer/system engineering or a related field.
• Strong analytical skills and innovative thinking.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in APM or rail transportation systems is preferred.
• Experience with signaling systems is a plus.
• Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design works for building works and civil works.
• Supervise the drafting works related to design and coordinate for deliverables.
• Ensure all engineering works comply with relevant statutory standards, regulations, and Codes of Practice.
• Assist QP/Project Lead in managing projects, liaise with stakeholders, clients, design team, site team and other relevant parties.
• Liaise and coordinate with contractors, project team and design consultants and submission to authorities.
• Working independently in analyses, design, submissions, construction support and coordination works will be advantageous.

Requirements

• Possess a Civil and Structural Engineering degree recognized by the Professional Engineers Board of Singapore/Malaysia.
• Minimum 2 years of C&S design experience.
• With working experiences in Singapore/ Malaysia on structural engineering projects.
• Well verse with structural engineering design to local Codes, Regulations and requirements, and Eurocode.
• Well verse in structural design software, e.g. Tekla, STAAD Pro, SAFE, Prokon, Etabs, SAP 2000 etc.
• Familiar with authority submission requirements for civil-structural works.
• Experience in design/project management works in BIM.
• Conversant with statutory code and requirements for site supervision, quality control procedure and construction administration.

• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, consultants, and contractors to ensure seamless project execution.
• Explore and incorporate the latest innovations and technologies to deliver a world-class BHS solution for Terminal 5.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and project specifications.
• Monitor project progress, manage risks, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
• Prepare and present project updates to senior management and stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in industrial/systems planning Engineering or a related field.
• Strong analytical skills and creative problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Highly motivated with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in baggage handling or material handling systems is preferred.
• Experience in managing large-scale projects and working with cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of the latest BHS technologies and trends is a plus.
