• Develop display components (display panels, touch sensors, cover glass, etc.) in Automotive products (digital clusters, display solutions, and head-up displays).
• Development includes technical requirements definition, concept creation, architecture design, deviation review and negotiation with supplier, design review, performance evaluation/optimization, specification creation, failure analysis and support part qualification till mass production.
• Define, align and track display components’ development milestones & schedule, and budget to ensure deliveries to customers.
• Manage and lead in display component-related technical discussion with suppliers and internal project team members.
• Prepare engineering documentation, specifications and reports.
• Follow both project implementation and quality management rules in realization of the display components.
• Develop new display / touch panel technologies in preparation for application in future Automotive products.
• Work closely with supplier quality management and category management in new supplier development and introduction.

Concept development during RFQ

• Specification of display HW Architecture (system PCB and display, ASIC/TCON, DES, display driver, power supply)
• Specification of EE parameters in display specification
• Review of supplier Vendor Addendum
• Definition of calibration concept

Product development

• Review of display supplier deliverables
  (schematic, layout, simulation, and measurement data)
• Review of system PCB schematic and layout
• Development of display function
  (Requirements for SW and HW, bring up display, support with tools for display, BL driving, alignment with supplier)
• Development of display calibration
  (requirements for SW, sample shop and production, test of calibration, build of PCR, support during implementation and debugging)
• Development of additional functions (image enhancement, local dimming …)
