Seeking for SIngaporean to join as a Windows 11 Engineer

1 year contract through employment agency payroll

Work Location: Changi Business Park

Salary budget: Up to $5600 (depend on experience, company do not provide bonus)

Required Experience:

• OS Expertise: Extensive experience in troubleshooting and supporting Windows 10/11 operating systems.
• Image Creation and Deployment: Experience creating, maintaining, and deploying OS Images in a large enterprise environment.
• Endpoint Management: Proficiency with endpoint management tools such as Microsoft SCCM, MDT, Intune, or similar.
• Security Practices: Strong knowledge of endpoint security best practices and implementation.
• Technical Understanding: In-depth understanding of Active Directory, Group Policies, Networking, and Endpoint Security.
• Scripting and Tools: Experience with PowerShell, command-line scripts, and SysInternals tools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Image Creation and Management: Develop, deploy, and maintain standardized Windows 10/11 images for endpoint devices across the organization, ensuring optimal performance and stability.
• OS Deployment: Configure, troubleshoot, update, and maintain global OS Deployment variants on SCCM.
• Security Compliance: Ensure that all Windows endpoint devices comply with company security policies and standards, conducting regular audits and updates, as necessary.
• Technical Support: Provide expert technical assistance for Windows endpoint devices, including desktops, laptops, and other devices. Troubleshoot and resolve software and hardware issues to maintain system reliability.
• Project Coordination: Coordinator of the Windows 11 migration project, tracking progress of timelines, gathering of information, issues tracking, and risk mitigation to ensure a smooth transition.
• Collaboration: Work closely with IT teams, partners, and other business departments to ensure project and operational objectives are met.
• Issue Resolution: Provide ongoing technical support during and after the migration, addressing and resolving any issues related to the transition, including deployment failures, application problems, and performance concerns.
• Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation for support procedures, configuration settings, and troubleshooting steps to ensure consistency and support efficiency.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with IT teams involved in patch management, security, and regional deskside support to ensure a seamless migration experience.

Seeking for Singaporean to join as Cloud Engineer (1 year contract under agency payroll)

Mandatory Skills: AWS; Azure

Working Hours: Mon - Fri: 8.30am to 6pm (including 1 hr lunch break) Required 24*7 Standby Support for Incident Management

Salary Range: $6000 - $7400, incentive of performance bonus up to 1 month basic salary subject to reporting manager’s appraisal at the end of contract

Requirements:

Possess the relevant qualifications and/or be proficient in the following areas:

• AWS SysOps Certified a must
• Singaporean (required to clear Cat 2A security clearance)
• Minimally (3 - 5) years hands-on experience in administration of servers and Cloud Operations (AWS and Azure)
• Working experience with ECS and EKS in AWS
• Good working experience with Linux platform
• Working experience with Microsoft Hyper-V, VMWare ESXi’s & vCenter, Nutanix, Azure and AWS experience
• Knowledgeable in Windows Operating Systems 2012/2016/2019/2022 Server
• Knowledgeable in Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, Group Policy, IIS, SCCM, WSUS, Windows Cluster
• Preferably experience in Commvault/Netbackup Veritas Backup Products
• Preferably experience in TrendMicro/Symantec Anti-virus products
• Knowledge with storage products
• Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude
• Proficient in coordinating and communicating customer requirements
• Proficient in Windows scripting
• Able to handle demanding service response and recovery turnaround
• Able to manage daily support tasks to meet stringent SLA requirements

• Regular 8x5 support (shift rotation but no graveyard), required to be on standby for 7x24 support. Expected to work during off-peak hours on system activities
• Basic understanding of Linux OS and willing to be cross trained in Linux/Unix environment
• Basic Networking knowledge is a plus
• Preferably certified in RHEL, Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA), ITIL or equivalent.
• Required to serve 2 months notice if hired for this role

Responsibilities:

• Install and configure software and hardware
• Manage servers and other related technology tools
• Set up accounts and servers
• Monitor performance and maintain systems according to requirements
• Work with users and vendors to take timely and appropriate steps to resolve and troubleshoot issues impacting service levels and conduct root cause analysis
• Ensure security through access controls, backups and hosts firewalls
• Ensure patching is done monthly and systems are upgraded with new releases and models
• Ensure systems always comply with security policies, including vulnerability assessment, patching, and hardening.
• Respond promptly to Incidents and SRs
• Generate and Review Accounts monthly or as per required
• Researching and recommending new approaches to improve the computer system.
• Providing technical support when requested within and after office hours
• Develop expertise to train staff on new technologies
• Build an internal technical documentation, manuals and IT policies
