We are seeking a highly skilled Middleware Systems Engineer to play a pivotal role in modernizing and standardizing our supply chain technology stack. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining middleware solutions that facilitate seamless communication and data exchange between:
- Middleware Architecture: Support the designing and implementation of a robust and scalable middleware architecture that addresses the challenges of fragmented systems, integration issues, and legacy infrastructure.
- System Integration: Develop and manage integrations between WMS, SAP, TMS, DBP, WES, and other relevant systems to ensure efficient data flow and process automation.
- Message Exchange: Enable reliable and secure message exchanges between systems using appropriate messaging protocols and technologies.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the business units and project managers, IT team, external vendors and other stakeholders to gather requirements, design solutions, and ensure successful implementation.
- Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Implement monitoring and logging mechanisms to proactively identify and resolve issues.
- Performance Optimization: Continuously optimize the performance and scalability of the middleware infrastructure.
- Technology Evaluation: Stay abreast of emerging middleware technologies and evaluate their potential for improving our supply chain operations.
- Professional Insight: Provide technical advice to project managers/leaders and give technical direction to team members.
