Job Responsibilities

• Assist the Mechanical Engineer in the maintenance of equipment
• Perform timely preventive and breakdown maintenance on equipment
• Coordinate daily maintenance activities with Control Room, maintenance team
  and contractors
• Carry out system troubleshooting for:
• Rotating Equipment
• Conventional Chlorine Gas Dosing System
• Dissolved Air Flotation and Filtration System
• DWEER Energy Recovery System (ERS)
• Chemical dosing systems
• Air Compressors systems
• Perform Rotating Equipment Alignment (digital or dial gauge)
• Lead and execute membrane replacements
• Set up and certify scaffold set up for all maintenance works
• Ensure that the maintenance documentation conforms with ISO requirements
• Review of RA of activities pertaining to maintenance works
• Preparation and periodic review of SWP
• Appointment of Competent Person under safety requirements
• Any other ad-hoc duties assigned by supervisor

Job Requirements

• Possess a Polytechnic Diploma in Mechanical or other engineering-related field
• At least 5 years of work experience in:
• DWEER Energy Recovery System (ERS)
• Rotating Equipment Alignment (digital or dial gauge)
• Rotating Equipment Overhauls
• Conventional Chlorine Gas Dosing System
• Dissolved Air Flotation and Filtration System
• Membrane based water treatment plants

Additional Job Description

• Knowledge of health and safety guidelines when dealing with dangerous equipment or chemicals
• Good numerical and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
• Ability to work in shifts and/or overtime
