Key Responsibilities:

·       Work with an engineering team on a range of sports product research, design and development

·       Assist in developing and maintaining Python console and GUI applications for 3D rendering tools

·       Assist to develop tools, test cases and programs to automate process during various stages of product life cycle.

·       Develop automated synthetic data generation pipeline using Blender and Python for training of deep learning model

·       Help conduct in-office and field experiments to evaluate performance of algorithm in real-life settings.

·       Work with Senior Engineers to explore better image processing algorithms to solve problems.

·        Perform data analytics.

·       Build pipelines for automated data analytics.

·       Pursuing Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science, Software Engineering, AI, or related fields.

·       Good communication and organizational skills.

·       Critical thinking skills with a detail-oriented mindset.

·       Insight into the quality issues in the product life cycle is a plus

·       A pro-active, organized & meticulous person who is able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

·       Knowledge in deep learning, convolutional neural networks (CNN) and image processing.

·       Strong aptitude to learn and contribute.

·       Understanding of QA, with knowledge in designing and executing tests, and reproducing bugs, a plus.

·       Programming skills and experience in Python.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop Full-Stack Applications: Design, build, and maintain responsive front-end interfaces and secure, scalable back-end services.
• Cloud Integration: Leverage cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) to develop and deploy cloud-native solutions, ensuring optimal scalability and performance.
• Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with product managers, designers, and DevOps engineers to deliver seamless user experiences.

Job Description

Our algorithm team designs, develops and implements state of the art computer vision solutions to address needs of complex Rapsodo products. As a Senior Computer Vision Engineer, you will be part of a world-class, skilled engineering team developing state of the art measurement solutions which help athletes reach their full potential. This role requires a highly versatile skill set and you will have opportunities to contribute in all relevant domains. Your responsibilities will include development of new products and enhancing existing products.

• Masters or PhD in Computer Science or related fields with specialization in Computer Vision, and Image Processing
• Minimum 6-8 years of relevant working experience
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in 3D Vision, Camera Calibration, Image Classification, Segmentation and Feature Extraction
• Strong knowledge in Linear Algebra, Numerical Optimization, Probability and Statistics
• Hands-on experience with OpenCV
• Excellent C/C++ programming skills with some Python experience
• Experience with software architecture and/or API design, complemented by robust integration skills
• The ability to communicate technical information clearly and succinctly to both technical and non-technical team members

About the role:

As a Data Engineering Intern at Rapsodo, you’ll play an essential role in building and optimizing the data infrastructure that powers decision-making and innovation throughout our organization. This role is ideal for students passionate about data engineering, with a foundational knowledge of data analytics to support meaningful insights. You’ll gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge technologies, applying your skills to bridge data engineering and analytics, and making an impact on projects in sports technology and business strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

·       Participate in the design, development, and maintenance of Rapsodo’s data systems, using tools like Google BigQuery, Kafka, and GCP Pub/Sub.

·       Support data ingestion, processing, and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to deliver reliable data for analytics teams.

·       Collaborate with data analysts and scientists to ensure clean, structured data is available for analysis, reporting, and visualization.

·       Assist in the setup and monitoring of real-time data pipelines, learning to identify ways to streamline data ingestion and reduce latency.

·       Work on data collection, cleaning, and preprocessing, preparing data for analytics and helping generate insights for diverse projects.

·       Collaborate with the team to troubleshoot and improve data pipeline and infrastructure efficiency.

·       Create basic reports, dashboards, and visualizations with tools like Tableau or Power BI, conveying valuable insights to business stakeholders.

·       Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.

·       Knowledge of SQL and familiarity with Google BigQuery or other data warehousing solutions.

·       Exposure to programming languages such as Python or R and experience with data manipulation, cleaning, and preprocessing techniques.

·       Interest in or exposure to data streaming technologies (e.g., Kafka, GCP Pub/Sub) and ETL development.

·       Basic understanding of statistical analysis and hypothesis testing to support data-driven insights.
