Job Description:

1. Supervise subcontractors’ works to ensure timely completion and quality standards of project

2. Monitor to ensure that utilities and M&E works executed are in accordance to statutory requirements, construction procedures and safe work practices

3. Identify and resolve system failures and perform to oversee preventative maintenance

4. Work closely with utilities agencies to provide update of progress in construction site, utilities damages or unknown service

5. Liaise and coordinate between utilities agencies and construction team on excavation works, services diversion and reinstatement work near underground or utilities services

6. Compile data on utility process units, monitoring system efficiency and energy and material usage

Experience:

At least 2 years of experience in construction supervision for projects of similar scale and complexity.

Candidate with MRT project experienced is preferred.

Skill:

Proficient in CAD software AutoCad will be an added advantage.

A Person with the knowledge and skills to conduct both field and laboratory sampling and testing of construction materials. To be responsible for required technology investment and development to achieve the overall business objectives.

Job Description

As an Engineer, you will be reporting to the Project Manager or Manager. In this role, you will contribute in varies projects involving Geophysical Survey and Utilities Mapping. You are expected to coordinate with the clients, sub-contractors, suppliers, internal colleagues, such as site supervisors, reporting team, and so on. You will have the opportunity to learn the integration of Geophysics methods (Seismic, Resistivity, & Radar) in Civil Engineering applications.

• Supervising lab testing team on daily testing works.
• Ensuring testing is performed in accordance with the approved codes / standards and SAC-SINGLAS requirements.
• Ensuring quality, accuracy and timely output of work including data processing and report preparation.
• Maintaining equipment, test records and reports, etc.
• Performing other duties relevant to the laboratory testing works as required, including preparing and testing soil, rock and concrete samples, etc., when assignment is received.

Requirement:

• Degree in Civil Engineering or Engineering Geology (2nd class +).
• Min. 3 years’ experience in SINGLAS accredited geotechnical Laboratory.
• Capable in the testing, data processing and result reporting for Triaxial Tests, Oedometer Test, Direct Shear Test, Permeability Test, Physical Properties Tests and Rock/Concrete Compression Tests, etc.
• Completion of ISO/IEC 17025 2017 training course will be an added advantage.

Requirements

• Experience with cloud technologies – AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Hands on experience in managing cloud infrastructure and native services.
• Familiar with Linux/Unix and/or Microsoft Windows Server command line tools
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
• Proficiency with automation & configuration management tools.
• Experience with Docker/Kubernetes/IAC frameworks is a plus.
• Working knowledge of DevOps software development tools and methodologies is an advantage.
