In Your Role
- Lead, develop and grow the Engineering team into a high-performing team
- Translate business requirements and product roadmap into practical software architectures and requirements
- Design and implement solutions
- Guide and train team on coding related matters
- Plan sprints and ensure quality code is delivered on time
- Work on mission-critical systems with high requirements on availability, reliability and performance
- Monitor reliability and performance of systems to suggest improvements
- Collaborate with DevOps team to improve processes
Requirements
- Degree/Diploma in an Engineering, Computer Science or other technical field
- At least 10 years of experience in software development/engineering
- At least 2 years of experience managing a team of at least 5 engineers
- At least 2 years of experience working on mission-critical systems
- Experience with Java Spring Boot, SQL and NoSQL (ideally Redis and Cassandra) databases, and message queues
