Responsibilities
Maintenance Phase:
Responsible for all HVAC system maintenance for both Non-GMP and GMP equipment at the XDC Singapore site, including air handling units, cold rooms, isolators, clean rooms, pass boxes, LAF, and other related chilled water and cooling water pipelines.
Create HVAC SOPs, PM plans, and manage spare parts in accordance with the XDC framework.
Execute the PM plan and perform any required emergency maintenance.
Monitor system data to improve performance, resolve weaknesses, and implement best practices for energy saving and low carbon operations.
Handle deviations or change controls related to the HVAC system.
Mentor junior engineers and guide their development.
Collaborate with the shifts team, user team, QA, Validation, and other departments to ensure the HVAC system meets all departmental requirements.
Project Phase:
Participate in and execute HVAC-related activities during the project phase, adhering to the project timeline.
Monitor vendor performance and address any discrepancies by issuing punch lists.
Perform HVAC startup activities under supervision.
Review system TOP documents and provide feedback as necessary, ensuring all documentation is comprehensive.
Perform other tasks as assigned by project leadership.
Requirements
Bachelor or higher qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, Automation, Pharmaceutical Engineering, or other related specialties; candidates with equivalent work experience is plus.
Ability to quickly learn HVAC knowledge and related requirements and codes.
Strong communication and comprehension skills.
Positive work attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to follow leadership directives.
Open to accepting temporary work assignments, including overtime on weekends or weekdays, and other roles as needed.
Able to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
Strong multi-tasking and prioritization skills.

Responsible for the maintenance of XDC black utilities systems, including chillers, boilers, air compressors, cooling towers, electrical panels, plumbing, and other related systems.
Perform planned preventive maintenance and emergency maintenance, ensuring all work is recorded in work orders.
Conduct hands-on repair work as needed.
Identify equipment weaknesses and resolve issues independently without supervision.
Contribute to energy-saving initiatives.
Participate in project phases, including identifying discrepancies during walk-downs and leading utility commissioning phases.
Prepare spare parts and consumables for utility systems as guided by the line manager.
Collaborate with the SEM team and external teams to ensure timely completion of tasks.
Review system TOP documents and provide feedback, ensuring all documentation is comprehensive.
Draft and update SOPs, URS, or other relevant documents as needed.
Mentor and coach junior engineers to support their development.

Requirements
