As a SOC Engineer, you will play a key role in our Security Operations Center. Your responsibilities will include monitoring, detecting, investigating, analyzing, and responding to security events within our IT infrastructure, including Operational Technology (OT) systems. You will leverage your knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, risk management, and incident response protocols to enhance our defenses. Familiarity with Operational Technology security principles is essential, as you will oversee the integration of security practices in both IT and OT environments to protect our critical infrastructure. Additionally, you will apply Scaled Agile Scrum methodologies to coordinate technical meetings and manage security projects effectively.

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Monitor network traffic for unusual activity and manage SIEM tools to detect and respond to threats.

Requirements:

• Pursuing a master’s or bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Engineering, Risk Management, or a related field from a 4-year accredited university, preferably.
• Strong understanding of technologies, network operations, and Data Center Operations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Familiarity with GRC tools such as ServiceNow is highly preferable but not mandatory.
• Interest in preparing for Cybersecurity Certifications (CISM, CISSP, GIAC, etc.).
• Basic knowledge of SOC2, ISO 27001, NIST 800-53a, NIST 800-171, FedRAMP, and SOX.
