Job Purpose

The Executive/Senior Engineer is responsible for preparing, tracking and executing the workplan of Maintenance and Engineering (M&E) Group. The core focus of the job will be on ensuring quality and consistency across maintenance branches.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and improve processes for M&E group to ensure regulatory compliance and operational excellence.
• Prepare, implement and track yearly M&E Group work plan
• Conduct joint investigation with branch engineers for fault findings and incident investigation
• Coordinate, collate and prepare performance and maintenance reports across the branches for submission to the authorities
• Facilitate audits conducted by internal auditors, the authority and other external agencies
• Facilitate and coordinate external projects with LTA an/or external parties
• Maybe required to perform work during night hours and over weekends and public holidays

Qualifications and Work Experience

• Degree in Engineering
• Prior work experience in railway industry or process quality and planning will be advantageous
• Knowledge of Quality Management standards will be advantageous

Skills and Competencies

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience with automation software such as Power Automate is desired
• Basic coding skills (VBA, R, or Python) will be advantages

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Plan, design and administer contract/project of mechanical and electrical engineering works for building services.
• Prepare tender specifications and review tender drawings
• Perform tender evaluations and prepare tender evaluation reports
• Attend technical and progress meetings with client, architects, consultants and contractors
• Manage the projects and identify any non-conformity of contractor’s work at site
• Other adhoc duties as assigned

JOB REQUIREMENT

• Diploma/ Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of relevant industry experience
• Relevant working experience in an M&E Consulting firm is an added advantage.
• Knowledge in design and building project and relevant code of practice.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD/ BIM software is an added advantage.
• Able to work as a team, assertive, independent and proactive.
• Must have successfully started Residential, Commercial, Industrial, Institutional & Recreational projects
• Qualified for registration in Professional Engineers Board, Singapore will be an advantage
