The Job

• Assist the General Manager in overseeing day-to-day mall operations, ensuring all systems and facilities are functioning efficiently.
• Coordinate and execute maintenance programs to maintain optimal operational levels.
• Prepare and manage the annual maintenance budget.
• Administer and oversee maintenance contracts, ensuring adherence to budgetary guidelines and cost efficiency.
• Manage the cyclical replacement and enhancement of equipment within the mall, coordinating with the procurement team.
• Address feedback, service requests, and operational needs in a timely manner.
• Lead technicians and manage vendor services, ensuring professional standards are met in daily operations.
• Participate in the Company Emergency Response Team as a Site Incident Controller or First Aider.
• Collaborate with the Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) team for the review and approval of work permits (PTWs), risk assessments, and safety audits.

The Talent

• Degree or Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical), Real Estate, Facilities, Building, or Estate Management.
• Demonstrated initiative, leadership, and strong interpersonal skills.
• Capable of working within tight timelines and handling problem-solving efficiently.
• Excellent communication skills to manage internal and external stakeholders.
• Willingness to work beyond standard hours and adapt to potential lateral role transitions between asset classes based on business needs.

Job Description:

Handling of work orders (email and physical)

Arranging of repair works

a) Liaising with vendor and permit to work application

Minor repair and maintenance works

a) Replacement of cabinet door hinges

b) Replacement of electrical plugs

c) Replacement of light bulbs (low height)

d) Any other minor repair works

Routine servicing work

a) Cleaning of fan motor area for all chiller and freezer (3 times/store/year)

b) Cleaning of cables and plugs

Assist in project

Operating supplies control

a) Control of operating supplies inventory.

b) Issuing of operating supplies.

Requirements:

Basic knowledge of maintenance and repair.

Able to work on weekend and odd hours.

A willing to learn attitude.

Self reliant.

Must be able to lift heavy objects.
