Responsibilities:

• To assist QP(Supervision) on the site supervision and coordination works.
• To attend site meetings and resolve site technical issues.
• To review contractor’s submission.

Requirements:

• Registered with IES as Resident Engineer (RE) in Singapore.
• Minimum 8 years of experience and at least 3 years in viaduct structures and/ MRT Station experience.

Duties and Responsibility·

Assist Project Manager to oversee all daily construction activities on site to meet project progress and quality goals.

· Ensure all works are carried out in compliance with safety and environmental regulations

· Ensure all works are carried out in compliance to QA/QC requirements

· Convey proper instructions to subcontractors to ensure all installation works are executed in accordance with approved construction drawings details

· To manage construction difficulties, safety risk and other technical issues

· Prepare installation sequence & micro schedule for respective façade elements according to construction drawings

· Coordinate with Subcontractors on all matters pertaining to site installation and quality issues

· Monitor and update daily project/site progress report

· Maintain proper records of Site Inspection Reports, materials deliveries and site activities

· Arrange & Coordinate Site Testings and Inspections with Vendors and RTO/RE

· Manage and plan site materials and equipment delivery to ensure efficient use of resources

· Co-ordinate site storage space with Main Contractor

· To assist Project Manager in timely submission of materials samples and mock-up for approval

· Checking of RC structures conditions against construction drawings and highlight any discrepancies if found on site

• Lead and supervise a team of Piping Engineers and Designers as the Lead Engineer of the project.
• Ensure efficient project execution within the stipulated schedule and budget.
• Effectively manage design changes and provide appropriate solutions as needed during project execution.
• Responsible for the production of deliverables such as design calculations, specifications, procedures, analyses, progress reports, bid evaluations, CTR input, study reports and various third-party submissions.
• Provide skills, integrity, and knowledge in key areas of discipline engineering, including design codes, legislative requirements, and current good engineering practices.
• Understand clients’ needs; identify and address design parameters and problems; develop and implement solutions.
• Perform inter-discipline and discipline QA/QC and engineering compliance checks on all work performed by themselves or junior engineers within the group.
• Review and manage project and general specifications, engineering procedures, and engineering policy. Adhere to company processes and procedures.
• Responsible for all work completed in his/her section and delivered to the client. Ensure efficient and effective production of project deliverables.
• Assist the Department Manager in discipline-related activities and work sharing with other centers.

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Mechanical, Materials or Chemical Engineering.
• Minimum 22 years of experience.
• Familiar with offshore/FPSO piping materials, stress, layout and support engineering and design concepts.
• Able to work independently with minimum guidance and coordinate well with the piping materials, stress and, layout teams as well as other disciplines.
• Hands-on experience as Lead Piping Engineer of large sized FPSO/offshore platform projects.
• Familiar with offshore piping materials and stress engineering, platforms and FPSO layout design, material handling, piping/pipe support design, safety requirements, and conduct 3D model reviews as per project requirements.
