Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and align the Engineering teams and resources with the objective of “Design for Manufacturing” to achieve product leadership in the related industry.
• Understand, communicate, and manage the core needs of customers’ design and their requirements.
• Offer cooperation and support on Engineering needs as required by other departments.
• Operate as a team player with the ability to collaborate with other Department Heads in achieving corporate objectives.
• Lead engineering initiatives to ensure product designs are optimized for manufacturing and industry leadership.

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or its equivalent.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant working experience in the related industry.
• Excellent communicator with strong organizing and leadership skills.
• Knowledgeable in material substrates such as elastomer (Silicone rubber), plastics and metal.
• Hands-on experience with Pro-E Creo and Unigraphics (NX)/ AutoCAD software.
• Exposure to managing Product Development of component parts relating to Silicone Rubber, Plastics and Metal (any 2 out of 3 required substrates is acceptable) with client’s 2D/ 3D drawings.
• Possess some secondary process and tooling knowledge.
• Good rapport in interfacing and negotiating with local and global customers on Product and Engineering Development.

Duties of EHS Engineer:

• Conduct safety briefings for new employees, contractors, vendors, and visitors.
• Perform regular safety talks for shift teams and support EHS policy development.
• Promote safety initiatives and enhance safety culture.
• Conduct risk assessments, job hazard analyses, and enforce safety measures.
• Perform ongoing inspections to identify non-compliance.
• Coordinate audits and maintain safety documentation.
• Facilitate monthly EHS Committee meetings and ensure WSH regulation compliance.
• Collect data for EHS and Sustainability reports.
• Coordinate the Permit to Work System and ensure contractor compliance.
• Oversee workplace repairs and installations for safety risks and verify tools and equipment safety.
• Investigate and report WSH incidents, and conduct safety briefings, trainings, and emergency drills.
• Arrange OSHA testing and evaluations, manage visitor registration, and address disciplinary offences.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and implement robust data pipelines using Apache Kafka for real-time data streaming and processing.
• Develop ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into data warehouses like Hive, Teradata, and Clickhouse.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 6 - 10 years of experience with Data Engineering experience in the banking domain including implementation of Data Lake, Data Warehouse, Data Marts, Lake Houses etc
• Experience in data modeling for large scale data warehouses, business marts on Hadoop based databases, Teradata, Oracle etc for a bank
• Expertise in Big Data Ecosystem such as Cloudera (Hive, Impala, Hbase, Ozone, Iceberg), Spark, Presto, Kafka
• Experience in a Metadata tool such as IDMC, Axon, Watson Knowledge Catalog, Collibra etc
• Experience with distributed computing frameworks such as Apache Spark or Hadoop.
• Proficiency in programming languages like Python, Java, or Scala.
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with data warehousing solutions and real-time data processing.
