This is a fantastic opportunity to work with advanced equipment and comprehensive laboratory facilities, supporting the QA Manager in managing product quality and laboratory operations.

• Stable Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8.30 am to 5 pm.

Responsibilities:

• Plant Support: Provide support in the production of polyolefin products (polyethylene and polypropylene) and oversee the shipping inspection of finished products.
• Method Development: Establish and review test methods, equipment, and manuals to meet new requirements and ensure continual improvement.
• Maintenance: Maintain laboratory facilities and equipment in good working condition, including performing instrument troubleshooting.
• Laboratory Operations: Oversee day-to-day laboratory activities, such as scheduling tests and managing inventory control of laboratory supplies.
• ISO Coordination: Coordinate with internal and external parties for ISO 9001 activities and monitor the progress of ISO programs.
• Housekeeping and Safety: Maintain good housekeeping practices and ensure safety and environmental protection in the laboratory.

Requirements:

• Educational Background: Possess a Degree in Chemical, Chemistry, Polymer Technology, Material Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of quality assurance experience within the chemical industry.
• Knowledge: Proficiency in quality assurance processes and ISO management systems is essential.
• Skills: Demonstrated ability as a team player with initiative, drive, and excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).

Job Responsibilities:

1. Perform contamination tests on products according to customer requirement.
2. Ensure the assigned lab test correlations with customer to be certified/ re-certified.
3. Perform assigned projects by management and support in cleanliness improvement action.
4. Ensure proper control, maintenance and updating of Lab documentation system.
5. Ensure all test instruments in good condition with regularly preventive maintenance and calibration.
6. Assist in liaison with customers and suppliers on analytical results.

Job Requirement:

• Diploma with 2 years experience in related field or degree in chemistry / chemical engineering
• Familiar with lab test equipments (SEM-EDX,GCMS, IC, FTIR & LPC )
