Job Scope
- Develop and prepare Piping Material Specifications (line classes), requisitions for bulk and special piping components, and evaluate vendor quotations.
- Verify vendor documents and piping material take-offs to ensure compliance with project standards, codes, and specifications.
- Perform calculations/validations for pipe wall thickness, branch reinforcement, and related analyses.
- Prepare critical documentation, including line indexes and material summaries (BM/BQ).
- Provide engineering support during the construction phase of projects.
- Conduct 3D model reviews using tools such as Navisworks or SPR.
- Execute additional tasks assigned by superiors as required
Requirement
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in piping engineering, focusing on materials, design, and construction support.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of ASME, ASTM, BS, and other relevant standards.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, AP3D, or S3D.
- Proficient in 3D model review tools like Navisworks or SPR.
- Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills
