We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Dog Daycare Assistant to join our team. As a Dog Daycare Assistant, you will be responsible for providing a safe, fun, and engaging environment for dogs in our care. Your duties will include supervising playtime, assisting with dog feeding, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring the well-being of all dogs.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise dogs during playtime and interactions to ensure safety and proper behavior
- Assist with feeding and administering medications as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized daycare facility
- Communicate with pet owners about their dog’s behavior, needs, and progress
- Follow safety protocols and emergency procedures
- Provide excellent customer service to pet owners
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with dogs (preferred but not required)
- Passion for animals and a strong understanding of dog behavior
- Ability to handle multiple dogs in a busy environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Physical ability to walk, lift, and care for dogs of all sizes
- Must be reliable and punctual
- Ideally, candidates should have a valid driver’s license for transportation of pets if needed
