Duties

• Delivering pre- and post-sales support to customers in alignment with departmental objectives.
• Coordinating the tasks of service engineers and technicians, ensuring efficient handling of service calls and issue resolution.
• Methodically troubleshooting and promptly repairing equipment.
• Providing recommendations to customers on appropriate usage, maintenance, and corrective actions.
• Planning and executing preventive maintenance for contracted customers.
• Assisting with Projects and A&A works as directed by management.
• Ensuring the accurate organization of service, warranty records, and installation data.
• Training and guiding assistant service engineers and technicians on technical matters.
• Serving as the main point of contact for management updates on issue resolution and team coordination activities.

Requirements

• Minimum of Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or its equivalent
• At least 2 years of relevant working experience in related industry
• Project Management, Product Knowledge Skills & exposed to AutoCad or relevant drawing applications

Job Responsibilites

• Prepare District Cooling System (DCS) design for bid submissions and potential projects using CAD/BIM software such as AutoCAD/Revit to create 2D drawings such as equipment layouts, elevational and sectional drawings, schematic diagrams, etc. and 3D models of buildings which include mechanical and electrical aspects, etc.
• Develop technical write-ups/proposals for bid submissions and potential projects
• Work with Project Development team to generate tender specifications and drawings for tender issuance to contractors and suppliers/vendors
• Liaise with Procurement team to issue tender documents to contractors and suppliers/vendors and evaluate tender submissions
• Review existing district and retail cooling plants’ operations and provide improvement suggestions/plans with a data driven approach
• Liaise with government agencies and IHLs on collaboration/co-development matters on new technology development in the cooling domain
• Such other duties and responsibilities as may be reasonably requested by your immediate supervisor/the head of department from time to time

Job Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification
• Professional qualification(s) such as Singapore Certified Energy Manager (SCEM), Energy Efficiency Opportunities Assessor (EEO Assessor) and/or BCA-registered Energy Auditor will have an added advantage
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in air-conditioning system design, major retrofit works’ design involving chiller plant systems and/or energy audits of existing projects
• Familiarity with deployment and integration of renewable energy sources (e.g., solar PV) and energy efficient technologies (e.g., energy storage systems) will have an added advantage
• Proficient in using CAD/BIM software such as AutoCAD/Revit
