• Experience with design/wireframing software such as: Figma, Sketch, Adobe suite, or equivalent.

Job Description

A technical role with responsibilities in the planning, delivery, and management of a large-scale end-user computing environment, inclusive of desktop computing, device security, user authentication, user experience, compatibility, connectivity and performance in accessing the campus-wide infrastructure and digital resources provisioned by the University.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage a hyper converged physical/virtual desktop environment and user mobile devices by enabling central push of OS images, security controls, software updates, patches, license controls and troubleshooting.

• Manage user, device and biometric based authentication for client computers and mobile access to the campus network, published web-based, mobile and SaaS applications.

• Identify trends and develop insights on end-user device usage, access locations, types and baseline configurations, etc. for security, compliance, service enhancement and continuous operations review.

• Continuously re-engineer the end-point architecture, operating environment and connectivity in order to enhance ease of use, performance, security and overall user experience.

• Manage user communications, release coordination and reporting.

Qualifications

• University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related disciplines.
• About 8 years of working experience in IT, inclusive of 6 years’ experience in desktop and mobile device management, security & compliance, user authentication, single-sign-on and virtualization, etc.

• Good knowledge with hands-on experience in VMware Horizon, Workspace ONE, Virtual Desktop Infrastructure, Workspace ONE Access, SAML

• A problem solver with proven analytical, writing and communication skills.

Responsibilities

· Functional blocks and/or subsystems of digital ASICs from design to silicon verification. This includes RTL coding, verification, silicon validation, and qualification.

· Proactively work with other team members and partners to align on specifications, conduct reviews, and complete documentation.

· Contribute to ASIC roadmaps and future innovation.

· Develop technical leadership skills.

· Participate in co-development activities to help prototype ASIC designs in FPGA or other software models to support pre-silicon firmware development and verification.

Education And Experience Required

· BS or MS degree in electrical engineering or equivalent with focus on VLSI design experience

· Fresh MS graduates are welcome.

Knowledge And Skills

· Knowledge of submicron semiconductor technology

· Familiar with digital ASIC/SOC design flow from RTL to silicon characterization

· Familiar with Synopsys and Cadence EDA tools for Simulation, Synthesis, Timing (STA), Formal and Assertion based verification, etc.

· Familiar with design and programming languages: Verilog, System Verilog, Python, Perl, C, C++, etc.

· Ability to apply analytical and problem-solving skills

· Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to negotiate design features and options

· Knowledge of embedded system design, verification, and product development lifecycle

· Deep knowledge and domain know-hows in ARM/RISC-V microprocessor subsystem

He/She will be responsible for conversion of signal processing concepts (theoretical or prototyped in MATLAB or C-Language) into algorithms to be implemented into embedded DSP or ARM processors. He/she will also work together with audio research team members to evaluate, benchmark internally developed cutting edge proprietary speech/hearing algorithms which will be implemented in a range of high-volume audio product lines for customers. He/she will be responsible for understanding DSP hardware structure such as memory management and processor pipeline. He/she will be responsible for DSP software development & validation including requirement analysis for algorithm implementation, support patent applications efforts and support internal or external customer developments.

Job Responsibilities:

• Design, document and implement DSP audio software modules based on allocated requirements of the DSP architecture
• Develop novel DSP based algorithms for embedded audio systems
• Work with and particpate in research activities together with research team members on the implementation of speech/hearing algorithms
• Collaborate with Sales/Engineering teams in productization, verification, testing and patent application of newly developed algorithms
• Perfom Design and Code reviews with members of the development team
• Perform Defect Analysis and remove defects on developed solutions
• Adhere to software development process defined for the develpment team
• Enhance or update existing software algorithms as required or effective algorithm function improvements
• Writing effective code, making it more streamlines & readable
• Work well with company's partners and vendors

Job Requirements:

• Minimum with a Degree in Engineering with exposure to Signal processing applications
• At least 5 years of experience in embedded real-time firmware development with emphasis on computaional complexity
• Prior experience in DSP development and implementation with an emphasis on audio implementations is preferred
• Proficient in C/C++, Shell scripting
