• Design and develop mechanical solutions for factory automation.
• Conceptualize and create effective automated systems.
• Work independently to bring mechanical designs from concept to completion, ensuring functionality and efficiency.
• Apply your knowledge of Inventor/SolidWorks and 3D software to create detailed mechanical drawings and models.
• Enhance and refine existing designs to optimize performance and meet specific project requirements.
• Conduct regular design reviews to ensure alignment with project goals and standards.
• Provide technical support and guidance to ensure the successful implementation of mechanical solutions.
• Adhere to established quality and safety standards throughout the design process.

• Diploma graduate in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant working experience in an automation factory setting.
• Demonstrated interest and passion for automated system design.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate all operational aspect of project including manpower planning, construction progress monitoring, preparation of schedule and cost control
• Provide timely updates to site management regarding project progress and schedule

Pre-requisites

Project location: Jurong Island

Our client is a multinational company in the Manufacuting industry. Due to their current expansion plan, they are looking for an Engineering Manager to join their Engineer team, in hopes of developing the current high performing team. They are located in the East – easily accessible.

The Engineering Manager's responsibles are:

• Supervise a team of Project Managers / Engineers when new projects are introduced into the company
• Liaise with automation projects to improve production efficiency and reduce manual labour
• Corporate with Management and relevant department to evaluate project specification
• Analyse projects in terms of feasibility, risk and challenges
• Handle and supervise automation projects to improve productivity
• Handle and plan for Project expenses to ensure costs are within set budget
• Develop and execute Programs to build and develop Engineering strength
• Liaise with training to engineering department and production staffs in relevant topics that can enhance their capabilities and knowledge

Requirement

• At least 5 years of relevant experience in Molding/ Medical Devices industry
• Minimum Degree in any discipline
• Familiar with technology for plant development
• Knowledge in Automation design and concept

• Identify requirements and features for semiconductor equipment and create concepts and architecture of new equipment.
• Design mechanical systems which involve the selection and use of motors, actuators, gear drives, pumps, and valves.
• Responsible for design verification and validation testing to ensure compliance with specifications, safety regulations and product requirements.
• Create a detailed Mechanical drawing and apply analysis tools like Fish Bone Diagram and FMEA.

Requirements:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• At least 5 years of experience in Die Sorter.
• Familiar with 3D CAD software.
