About the Role:
Are you a skilled Civil and Structural (C&S) Engineer or an experienced Senior Engineer with a passion for driving impactful projects? We are seeking dedicated C&S Engineers and Senior C&S Engineers to drive the planning, development, and execution of diverse projects. Whether you're early in your career or a seasoned professional, you’ll play a crucial role in crafting and managing engineering designs, ensuring project success, and leading a team to achieve outstanding results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Oversee construction activities, manage work schedules, and ensure alignment with project objectives and quality standards. Review and validate designs, calculations, and structural integrity.
- Design and Development: Develop and review engineering designs from conceptual to detailed phases. Ensure designs meet project requirements and address any technical issues with consultants and subcontractors.
- Tendering and Planning: Lead the tendering process by preparing comprehensive studies on design factors, reviewing bids, and ensuring project feasibility and compliance with regulations.
- Execution Oversight: Monitor progress against schedules, handle quality control, resolve technical issues, and review testing and commissioning results for successful project handovers.
- Leadership and Coordination: For Senior Engineers, lead a team of engineers, provide guidance, and manage project execution, ensuring continuous performance improvement and adherence to safety standards.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Education: Recognized Degree in Building Construction Management, Civil and/or Structural Engineering, or related field.
- Experience: Engineer: 3-5 years in the Singapore Construction Industry, with a preference for experience in high-rise commercial building, mixed development, semiconductor factory, or healthcare building projects.
Senior Engineer: 5-7 years in a similar field, with expertise in managing projects, team leadership, and advanced knowledge of BIM and local construction codes.
- Skills: Proficiency in Primavera P6 and BIM.
Familiarity with BIM and strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Knowledge of Singapore Construction Industry Code of Practice, rules, and regulations.
- Additional: Analytical, inquisitive, safety-conscious, structured, systematic, and a strong team player.
Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply for Engineer roles.
Additional Requirements for Senior Engineer:
- Familiarity with industry regulations such as the Professional Engineers Act, Building Control Act, and Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Act.
