Jobscope:

• Work with system architect and pre-sales team to implement security surveillance systems and network infrastructure solutions in-premise and able to articulate and document the solution.
• Analyze, plan, implementation (network, system, infra, applications), testing, and management of a state-of-the-art integrated perimeter, video surveillance and video analytics security system
• Good knowledge and hands on experience working with software and hardware systems in the area of:
  • IP CCTV System
  • Fence Intrusion Detection System (FIDS)
  • Physical Security Information Management System (PSIM)
  • Video Management System (VMS)
  • Data Protection
  • Identify and Access Management
  • Windows Server OS, Linux OS in a virtual environment
  • Virtualisation and Hypervisors
  • Network Monitoring
• Work, liaise and lead inter-disciplinary technical team and stakeholders to design, implement and verify solutions to meet project requirements for performance.
• Works with partners to diagnose and rectify technical issues as well as support preventive and corrective maintenance
• Develop technical implementation timeline with critical path that complements project management schedule.
• Collaborate with respective key vendors/partners to design and review the proposed solution architecture in accordance with standards and policies.
• Understands technical documentation, installation manuals, system drawings and able to orientate construction drawing, floor plan, etc.
• Ensure the project User Acceptance Tests are conducted successfully accordance to requirements
• Proficient in electrical power and good knowledge on power cabling works for on-site works
• Attend customers meetings, report regularly on progress and monitor project progress
• Liaise with customers/consultants/project managers concerning approval of designs, reviews, progress of work, problem solving, etc.
• Determine and define clear deliverables, roles and responsibilities of technical engineers in a project to ensure all are actively working toward established milestones and ensuring work complete on time on schedule.
• Assists maintenance team to ensure System Availability and Reliability meets customers’ requirement
• Conduct Root Cause Analysis of system issue and failures and recommend solutions.
• With knowledge on construction site safety and regulatory requirements
• Understanding of financial reporting, budget tracking, and project cost management
• Attain key certifications for partnership with key vendors
• 24 x 7 standby at times planned only. Not always

The Senior AE/ Engineer is responsible for maintaining and improving the organization’s cybersecurity posture on an ongoing basis. S/he will work with external experts to implement security solutions, and work with vendors to monitor, detect and contain cybersecurity incidents to minimize impact to the organization.

Responsibilities :

• Review and development of security framework, information security policies, processes / procedures and guidelines on an ongoing basis
• Work with vendor to conduct security assessments and penetration tests.
• Identify security gaps, perform threat risk assessments in current setup and propose mitigating measures.
• Standardize and refine security incident response and escalation processes.
• Mitigate and contain threats when detected.
• Escalate security incidents and non-compliances on a timely basis.
• Work with IT infrastructure team to evaluate, implement and enhance the network perimeter security, endpoint security, SIEM, secured remote access, MFA, Identity Access Management and Privileged Access Management.
• Monitor information security alerts triage, mitigate, and escalate issues as needed.
• Provide security advisory to end users on regular basis.
• IT Security Management of various aspect, e.g. network security, server security, application security, end point security, email security, physical access security, logical access security, etc.
• Keep abreast of industrial IT security advancements and introduce appropriate security enhancements to IT infrastructure and systems.
• Attend to any other reasonable duties as assigned by the Senior Cyber Security & IT Governance Manager and IT Director.

Requirements :

• Degree in engineering, science or information technology, or equivalent education.
• At least 3-5 years of related work experience in cybersecurity management and security governance.
• Candidates with additional experience will be considered for the Senior Cyber Security Analyst position
• Good working knowledge of security risk management, security governance framework and compliance (IT Security Audit / log review), technical vulnerability management (vulnerability assessment, penetration testing), application security, security technologies (system hardening, IDS/IPD, firewall), security incident response and security assessment.
• Strong understanding of ISO27001 standard.
• Hands-on experience at least 4 of the following IT Security Tools:

a) Next Generation Firewall (e.g., FortiGate, Palo Alto, Cisco FirePower)

b) SASE (Zscaler, Netskope, Skyhigh)

c) Tenable Security Center Continuous View

d) Endpoint Protection (e.g., Symantec, Trend Micro, Sophos Endpoint)

e) Email Security (e.g., Mimecast, ProofPoint, Cisco Email Security)

f) Data Loss Prevention (e.g., Symantec, ForcePoint, Digital Guardian)

g) SIEM (e.g., Splunk, QRadar)

h) CyberArk PAM and IAM

• Understand Risk Management, Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity and IT Regulatory Compliance.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Pro-active, independent, resourceful, able to work in a team environment and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Work well with all functional levels in the organization.
• CISSP, CISM, CISA or equivalent IT security certifications will be advantageous.
• Prior IT security consulting and/or IT Network experience will be advantageous.
