FULL-TIME / PART-TIME English Teacher for High-Ability classes P2-P6

Job responsibilities

Full time/part time teacher working at our HQ Novena Regency

Responsibilities include:

• Planning, preparing, and delivering frontal/online lessons in accordance with our curriculum for primary high-ability students.
• Conducting English classes and marking assignments.
• Maintaining positive relationships with students and parents.
• Providing regular updates to parents on students’ performance and progress.
• Attending and actively participating in teacher and curriculum meetings on a monthly basis.
• Performing any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Snapshots of our ideal candidate (Full time)

* Possesses a Degree or higher certificate in a specified field.

* Able to work 3 weekdays and weekends (At least one weekend)

* Ex-MOE or NIE qualified teacher is preferred.

* NIE GEP trained teacher, Ex-school GEP teacher, school Senior teacher with PSLE experiences, HOD of related department, curriculum writing and Primary school with PSLE paper marking experiences will be a bonus

* Excellent interpersonal, communication and classroom management skills.

Salary

Basic Salary for Full time (About 12-14 classes per week)

SGD 6000 - SGD 8000

Salary for Part time (About 4-6 classes per week), HW marking requested

SGD80-100/hr

• Student management & counselling responsibilities as Form Teacher
• Participate in department and school committees

Requirements

• At least 3 years’ experience in mechanical fabrication, pneumatics, 3D printing, mechanical servicing, design and automation;
• Prior teaching experience to 13-16 year-old students would be an advantage (online and blended learning);
• Possess a strong sense of mission to help and nurture students;
• Resourceful, self-driven, meticulous and socially adept; and
• Possess a subject relevant Diploma/Degree.
